this year’s festival theme is “Nin-naji Temple” which is an old temple in Kyoto, having very close relation with the Imperial family

あ！みしまコロッケってね、箱根西麓の三島馬鈴薯を使ったコロッケで
それに愛鷹山のアシタカ牛のお肉が入っているのが、いっちばんおいしい！
（ってかさ、サラ、豚肉食べれないし・・・）
the banner is called as “Nobori” in Japanese, which is now often used to advertise, the origin is dated back to Samurai era, but originally they were used as war flags
お仕事で東北にちょくちょく行くようになるまで、菊の花弁が食べれるって知らなかった
お刺身の飾りだと思っていたけど、最近はしっかりお刺身と一緒にいただいてます！
these flower petals are not edible but in Tohoku region (Yuzu’s home prefecture, Miyagi belongs to Tohoku region) they grow edible Chrysanthemum, and often eat with Sashimi
