oh!! Yuzu won the athlete of the year, 2018 with this girl, Simone Biles!

The most decorated gymnast in history and a global figure skating sensation have been named the United States Sports Academy’s male and female Athletes of the Month for October. American gymnast Simone Biles and Japanese superstar Yuzuru Hanyu took home the top honours for the month.

USスポーツ・アカデミーの「10月のアスリート」賞の男女選手は、史上最高の輝きの体操選手と
フィギュアスケートで世界的にセンセーションを巻き起こした選手に。アメリカの体操選手、
シモーネ・バイルズと日本のスーパースター羽生結弦が月間賞を獲得。
 

Hanyu won the Skate Canada men’s title by 59.82 points, the largest margin in Grand Prix figure skating history, in competition in October 2019. Hanyu won with a personal best total of 322.59, the highest point total in the world this season.
羽生は59.82点というフィギュアスケートGP史上最大の得点差で2019年10月のスケートカナダで優勝。羽生に勝利をもたらした322.59点の総合点は（シーズン）自己最高得点であり、同時に今期の世界最高得点。
 
 
 
 
Biles won five gold medals at the FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships in Stuttgart, Germany, in October 2019, and became the most decorated gymnast in world championships history with 25 career world medals. Biles also completed two skills never performed by a female gymnast in competition.
バイルズは、2019年10月、ドイツ、シュトゥットガルトで開催された体操世界選手権の5種で金メダルを獲得、25個の世界メダルを獲得し、史上もっとも輝かしい体操選手となった。バイルズは、女子初の二つの大技も成功している。

Each month, the public is invited to participate in the Academy’s worldwide Athlete of the Month program by nominating athletes and then voting online during the first week of every month. The online votes are used to guide the Academy selection committee in choosing the male and female monthly winners, who then become eligible for selection to the prestigious Athlete of the Year ballot. A worldwide public vote on the annual ballot is used to guide the committee in making the final selection.
毎月当アカデミーの月間賞アスリートが選ばれ、一般投票を行っており、オンラインの投票結果を参考に選考委員会により男女の月間賞が決められ、月間賞を得た選手は年間賞の候補者となり、年間賞もオンラインの一般投票の結果が選考委員会で参考にされる。

The Athlete of the Year Award is part of the United States Sports Academy’s Awards of Sport program, which each year serves as “A Tribute to the Artist and the Athlete.” The Academy presents the awards to pay tribute to those who have made significant contributions to sport, in categories as diverse as the artist and the athlete in several different arenas of sport.
年間アスリート賞は、「アーティストとアスリートへの敬意」を示すUSスポーツアカデミーのスポーツ関連活動の一環であり、当アカデミーでは、異なる多様な分野における、アーティストやアスリートのそれぞれのカテゴリーでの偉大な貢献をした者への敬意を込めてこの賞を提供している。
 

 

The awards honor exemplary achievement in coaching, all-around athletic performance, courage, humanitarian activity, fitness and media, among others. The Academy’s American Sport Art Museum and Archives (ASAMA) annually recognizes these men and women through its Sport Artist of the Year, Honorary Doctorates, Medallion Series, Distinguished Service Awards, Outstanding Athletes, and Alumni of the Year awards. This is the 35th year of the Academy’s Awards of Sport program.
この賞は、指導、総合的なスポーツのパフォーマンス、勇気、人道的活動や健康、報道など幅広い模範的な業績をたたえるものである。当アカデミーのアメリカンスポーツ・アートミュージアム&アーカイブズ(ASAMA)には、毎年、スポーツアーティスト年間賞受賞者、名誉博士号、メダリオンシリーズ、功労賞、優秀アスリート、卒業生賞などを表彰し、本年、35周年を迎えている。

年間賞の候補者になるわけよね
そ、去年もそれで年間賞でもゆづゆづプロジェクト騒いだしね～！
なので、また1月に頑張ろうね！
ってかさ、今回は、3月の月間賞をネーサンが取っているので、ふふふ、なんか楽しくない？
ネーサンのお国のイベントでネーサンを抜いて結弦君がまた年間賞に輝いちゃったら、
きゃっ！（って、もう年間賞も取るってサラは完全に信じ切っているしぃ～～💖）
yeah, as the article is telling and as we tried last time, the monthly awarded athletes will be the candidates for the yearly award, so again we’ll have another Yuzu-Yuzu Project soon!
wow, this time, Nathan too will be the candidate since he won the Athlete of March
ha! ha! Sarah believes that Yuzu again won it in this event of Nathan’s contry!!!
 
 
ってかさぁ、フィギュアスケートがもう絶滅危惧種になりつつあるアメリカで、
日本のフィギュアスケーターが年間賞取った上、またも月間賞！
これってどんだけ結弦君の偉業がすごいかを語っているよね！
あ、そうそう、日本のメディアが一斉に口を閉ざしている
「シーズン世界最高点」と「GP史上最大の得点差」
という偉業も
しっかり文字にしてくれているUSスポーツ・アカデミーの健全さがうれしいね！
however, seems US Sports Academy must have a real “sports” sprit! you know, we are so irritated that whole Japanese media seem ignore Yuzu’s achievement, not reporting how great his achievements are, but here, US Sports Academy is obviously reporting that Yuzu’s score in Skate Canada is
 “the largest margin in Grand Prix figure skating history” and “the highest point total in the world this season”!!!
