Ms. Seiko Hashimoto, fetire from JOC post and others
informally though appointed for the post of the minister for the Olympics
Ms. Seiko Hanimoto, the vice president of JOC, and who just informally designated for the Olympic minister for the cabinet reshuffle on 11th, informed media on 10th that she will retire all of her sport-related organization posts, including JOC post. According to the criterion for state ministers, they are not allowed to work for other public service corporations together with minister’s post.
Ms. Hashimoto, participated both Summer and Winter Olympic games 7 times in total, has been working as the president for Japan Skating Federation and Japan Cycling Federation, also as the vice president for Japan Hockey Association, National Riffle Association of Japan as well as JOC, and also works as executive officer for some sport-related organizations.
