公園内の川をすぃすぃ～と！

なんか、1羽、みょ～に元気なんだけど
is he their boss? showing off his wings
ってか、翼広げたまますぃすぃ～って器用だね！
swimming with your wings open, wow, you are a skilled swimmer?
めっちゃご機嫌なの？
or you got good news and happy so much?
ちょっと迷惑そうだよ、他の子たち
aren’t you bothering others??
でも、なんで、み～んな翔、中途半端に広げてるんだろ？
追い風を受けているの？
why all of you are opening your wings half way?

でも、今度は向かい風だよ・・・バイバイ！

そうだ！ペリカン・・2年前だけど
オーストラリア出張の時、朝の散歩中に出会った！
この子はその時のペリカンさん
oh! Sarah met a Pelican when she was in Australia
two years ago, while she was walking in the early morning
シャボテン公園のペリカンさんはモモイロペリカンで、
こちらはコシグロペリカン、英語ではその名もオーストラリアン・ペリカン
those in Shaboten Zoo are White Pelicans, and
this one is Australian Pelican
朝日があがった直後でピンク色に見えるけど、色白さんだよ
just the Sun raised so, his white part got pink colour

おまけ・・・オーストラリアの超～ド派手はインコさんたち
additionally. . . flashily colourful Parakeets
7月の前半2週間ほどだったけど・・
真冬だった・・・寒かった～～
it was also July for two week or so, but
it was WINTER there!
