jump 結弦君のルッツとフリップ Yuzu's Lutz & Flip

昨日の朝、結弦君の教科書以上の（ふふ！）ルッツの
分析を眺めちゃったので・・また、ジャンプの話題！

yesterday morning, just introduced a video
analysing how splendid Yuzu’s quad lutz is

まずさぁ、なんたって結弦君のジャンプのすごさって
正確なジャンプを最高級の美しさで跳ぶところだよね～！
whatever, what’s the special of Yuzu’s jumps is
its accuracy and beauty! they are more than superb!

親友のアクセル君だって、普通さぁ「い、い、行くぞ！」

ってすっごい勢いつけて跳ぶけど、ほら、み～てよ
このふんわり、風のようなアクセル君！
それにね、（ジャンプじゃないけど）このイーグルだって
確かに最近イーグルからのジャンプをする選手増えて来たけど
な～にが違うって、イーグルも風のように流れるじゃん
結弦君のイーグルは！
姿勢もきれいだし、なにより筋肉全てがガチガチだなんて
全然感じないふわふわ～柔ら～かな美しさ！
これが結弦スペシャルだよね！
look at his best friend, Mr. Axle!
normally, most of skaters jump their Axel
with all their force, but look at Yuzu’s Axel
wow! just like “wind” and nowadays, some skaters also
jump with eagles but in case of Yuzu’s eagle-entry
here too, can you feel any “force” in his eagle?
Sarah doubt! what a smooth and elegant movement!
this is Yuzu’s Special!!!

ほら～！確かに教科書以上だよね！
だ～れがどう見たって、左アウトエッジ！
そ、完全に左にエッジもアンヨも傾いているでしょ！
yeah, better than a “textbook”!
any one can tell that he’s using the “out-edge”
his body and his edge is leaning to left (outside)

ボケボケだけど、入れちゃう！
ね！右のトゥピック（つま先部分）が氷に着いた時
まだ、結弦君は完全に後ろ向きでしょ
その次の飛び上がった瞬間も後ろ向きのまま！
実はさ、誰とは言わないし、画像も入れないけど
この段階で体が左に向いているスケーターって
た～まにいるのよね！それがプレローテーション
sorry, not clear. .
however when his right toe-pick is set
his body is perfectly backward
even when he started jumping, his body has no rotation yet!
actually, some skaters’ bodies are facing left side
it means already he/she started rotation before taking off

ついでに・・これまでもYahooのブログでルッツとフリップの話題してきたけど
また、しつこく繰り返しちゃう！
どっちも左で踏み切りながら、右のつま先で勢いをつけるけど
フリップはナチュラル・ローテーションで
ルッツはカウンター・ローテーション
by the way, how differ Lutz and flip, shall we review?
simply talking, a flip jump has the natural rotation and
a Lutz jump has the counter rotation

ナチュラルってね、自然にジャンプ前のスケーティングの弧と

ジャンプの回転方向がそろっているってことで
これは、ジャンプ前の滑走の力がそのままジャンプの回転に繋がるので、

力学的に自然で、ジャンプ、ジャンプ中の回転のエネルギーが作りやすいジャンプ
“natural” means, the direction of jumping rotation makes the same direction of the ark

made by skating to enter the jump
so, physically talking, the energy transition is natural;
i.e. power made by the running up can be mostly utilised for the jump

で、ルッツはカウンター・ローテーション
ジャンプで滑走時とは逆方向の回転を作るので、カウンター・ローテーション

（「counter」っていろんな意味があるけど、この場合は「反対の」という意味）
力学的に考えれば、フリップより大きな回転エネルギーが必要になるわけ
then in case of lutz, it’s a counter rotation jump
entering a jump with the opposite direction of ark, its means,

making a clockwise ark, a skater enter his/her jump, and

while jumping making counter-clockwise rotation(s)
(talking about skaters whose jump have counter-clockwise rotations)

この2つのジャンプを見分けるのって難しいけど、

ルッツは比較的ジャンプ前に左バック・アウトエッジでスィ～っと滑走していって、

フリップはジャンプ前に何度かターンをするケースが多いので、

「いくぞ～ルッ～ツ！」「クルックルッ、フリップ！」ってサラは覚えたんだけどね！
When we are watching in normal speed, it is almost impossible to find out which jump it was
but when you observer the preparation of a jump, you may find it a bit easier
since in case of a Lutz, a skater skates with his/her left back out-edge a bit longer,

but in case of a Flip jump, he/she makes turns a few times just before a Flip jump

“re～ady for it, and lu～tz!” and “flip, flip,　then a flip jump!”
