The first show of the tour went smoothly in Osaka.
Our staff team visited the venue for the first time in a week.
The venue has a noodle counter, so I ate Himeji staion soba.
It was decent, though last week's Chinese noodles left a stronger impression.
30th
I went to the office and worked on preparations for the first show of the Osaka tour, along with a few other tasks. I was so exhausted, but I gradually start to feel better in the afternoon.
29th
I went to Shibuya to set up the gear. After that, I went to Ebisu to attend a meeting for a project scheduled for next month.
For lunch, I had Hakata Tenjin ramen for the first time in several years. I used to eat it all the time but a nearby shop closed, so I couldn't go there easily anymore.
28th
I worked on a TV program shoot in Shibuya.
Only two songs were scheduled to be filmed. but there was a talk session in between, so I had to wait for several hours until was finished.
27th
The final rehearsal of the tour was held in Shibaura.
After that, we returned to the office and unloaded the gear.
26th
I went to the office and unload the gear from yesterday's show.
I was sleepy all day, but I still managed to got some desk work done.
25th
The show in Osaka went pretty smoothly because the venue was easy in terms of gear loading and had a better environment than any other venues.
The main performer suddenly pulled me onto the stage very start of the show and jokingly asked me, "Can I pull this off?"
When I said, "Yes, you can," the whole venue burst out laughing.
24th
The sixth show of the tour was held in Kyoto. The live house was difficult in terms of gear loading, with a very small stage, backstage area. Shortly after the show started, a guitar string broke and had to be replaced in the very small back stage area. After the show, we moved to Osaka by car. Our staff team went out for drinks at a Chinese restaurant, which was pretty good. Later, we joined the performer team, and a small argument broke out among them.
23rd
I attended a meeting for our section. After that, I loaded the gear onto the truck for shows in Kyoto and Osaka.
22nd
I went to Gakugeidai to work on a rehearsal. where I was asked to make several changes to the pedal board programs.

It was a cold day. I went to the office and worked on creating a wireless frequency plan for the tour that had just started. After that, I prepared an estimate for the next job.
20th
I slept in until 10 a.m. then rode an electric kickbord for the first time in several months. I used to ride it a lot last summer. Later, I joined the live tour after participating in a rehearsal.

I went to a hospital because my foot has been hurting since last year.
I talked with the doctor and decided to stop taking the medicine because it wasn't effective.
After that, I rode my bicycle to a nearby bike shop for maintenance.

The show in Hiroshima went smoothly.
After the show, we returned home the same day.
We were on the Shinkansen for over four hours, but I had a few dranks on the train, so it didn't feel as long as I expected.

I had a breakfast at WEST, a local udon shop in Fukuoka.
The show went smoothly, but durling the show, I realized that I had forgotten to change the guitar strings beforehand.
After the show, we headed to Hiroshima. At Hakata station, we had some time before our Shinkanasen reservation, so part of our tour team stopped by FUTOPPARA, a famous local izakaya in Fukuoka.
Then, we arrived in Hiroshima and went straight to a well-known okonomiyaki restaurant in the area.

For lunch, I made natto fried rice, and it turned out much better than I expected. After that, I headed to Fukuoka. Today was a moving day for part of our tour team. We arrived in Fukuoka and planed to go to a motsunabe specialty restaurant. which is famous in the area. However, it open too late, so we ended up having dinner separately. in the end, Kobayashi and I had dinner at local restaurant in Fukuoka.

Early this morning, I went to the office to deliver gear to Shibuya.
After that, I worked on shipping gear for a voice actor's tour.
I also handled some desk work for next month.
Later, I drove back to Shibuya to pick up the gear.

I worked on a TV shoot with Iwano. I may have overdone it with drinking last night.

I went to the office, unloaded the gear from yeasterday's show, and prepared for tomorrow's work.

The show in Nagoya went smoothly. I visited the venue for the first time in several years. Some of our team members orderd eel bowls through a delivery service before the rehearsal. I was relatively busy during the day.
Durling the show, the forntman pulled me onto the stage and dance with me. I was reluctant at first, but I saw the audience and band members laughing, I decided to enjoy it in the end.
11th
I went to the office to release some gear and prepare for tomorrow's show. I felt a little unwell, so I bought some kampo medicine at noon and took it. I had time to spere, so I finished renewing a bimonthly gear controll sheet.
10th
I took the day off and spent half of it at home. In the afternoon, I went for a walk with my kids. Before we knew it, we had arrived at Kuji, so we took the Nanbu Line back home. I also picked up the latest volume of The summer Hikaru Died, a series my daugter and I have been reading together.

Last night, I went to bed very late and didn't drink any alcohol.
However, I woke up earlier than I wanted and couldn't fall back asleep.
I went to the office around noon. As soon as I arrived, I had to handle some unexpected work.
After that, I finished some desk work and tuned some drums for a show in Nogoya next week.
Later, I went to Kinuta to wrap up the gear and loaded it onto a truck to taransport it.

The Fes event in Marunouchi went smoothly overall. The scheduled to end late, but it wrapped up almost on time.

Today was the setup day for an event in Marunouchi. Since our section finished setting up most of the power and some of the gear early, I spent most of the day waiting for our slot and sitting on a changeover meeting.

I went to the office and prepared for the event the day after tomorrow. I think I drank too much last night, so I felt a bit hungover.

I spent most of the day at home reading a book about an anxiety related to money. For lunch, I ate a leftover frozen fried chiken with rice and chiken soup. I only went out to buy food for dinner.

I went to my parents' house with my family, except for my daughter. We had lunch there. Afterward, my wife and I strolled around Kamimizo. In the evening, my sister and her daughter joined us for dinner. Finally, My family returned home, my daughter went to my parents' house, so she finished all of her plans.

This morning. my family had the last of our New-Year's food for breakfast. After that, I took a nap. In the afternoon, my son and I took a walk around Inadadutumi. I bought a copy of Killing Commendatore, a novel by Haruki Murakami, at Book Off, because I hadn't read this one yet.

My family visited Ofuna Kannon for the first vist to a temple in this year. After that, we had lunch at a Taiwanese restaurant. Then, we headed to Enoshima by monorail. The nomorail was more exciting than we expected. My children played by the sea. Finally, we ate dinner at an izakaya in Mizonokuchi.

I went to bed at 8 a.m. and I woke up at 10:30 a.m. For breakfast, my family had a New Year's meal. After that, I went back to sleep. I woke up again in the afternoon and prepared dinner. Later, my children and I went for a walk around Higashi Ikuta Forest. We walked through some bamboo grove. and once we entered it, we felt like we had stepped into another world.

The annual year-end show went more smoothly than I had expected. Our team had a year-end dinner at an upscale soba restaurant. We finished all of our work before 5 a.m.

Today was the second day of “sound matching”. Another person joined my assignment staring today. so my workload felt lighter. During rehearsal, an accident occurred when a synthesizer fell and was damaged.
29th
Today was the first rehearsal day for an annual year-end show called “Sound matching day”. I was extremely busy because I couldn't check all of my assigned tasks, yet I still had to handle many of them in a limited amount of time .

Today was the location check for the annual year-end show, and I was involved in setup work throughout the entire day, coninuing from yeasterday.
26th
This morning, on my way to the office, a kid was blown by strong wind and crashed into a roadside guardrail right in front of me. I checked on him and helped him. Later, Kajita and I prepared a lot of equipment for the annual year-end program. After that, we went to Shibuya to load in and set everything up.

I worked on a TV shoot for an annual year-end program. Afterward, I went to the office and prepared for the year-end show on the final day.

This morning, I took two naps after breakfast. I left home before noon and had lunch at a restaurant on the fifth floor. I worked on setting up for tomorrow’s shoot. After that, I waited for the camera test to finish. but, it was delayed by about two hours.

I attended in a meeting for the annual special program. After that, I prepared for tomorrow. I might have drunk too much.

This morning, I got a haircut. After that, I bought some food for dinner. I made Korean instant ramen and ate it with my daughter. Then I read some comics. I had a relaxing day off.

My family, except for my son, went to Chinatown.
First, we visited a restaturant called "Hosyou," which is known for its beef ribs curry rice, and we had it. The dish had more complex flavors and textures than I had expected.
After that, my wife and I tried a bowl of lou ro fan at another restaurant. My daughter had some takeout food. We also bought some foods that buy every time we visit Chinatown.
Finally, my daughter wanted to eat hedgehog cake, so she had one. She said she was satisfied.

I couldn't fall asleep easily last night. However, I was assigned to an early shift, so I only got a little sleep. I drove a truck to deliver equipment. and after that, I drove back to the office. I worked on some desk tasks. For lunch, I had a large size of instant cup yakisoba and some salad chiken, which made me feel guilty because it was unhealthy.

I went to the hospital because I had been having pain on the top of my left foot for about four days. The doctor looked at my X-ray and suspected lumbar disc herniation. After that, I made a bowl of instant ramen "Sapporo ichiban Sio," which has been my favorite since childhood. My family going to go to eat out for celebrate my son's birth day at syabu-syabu restaurant.

I worked on a TV program shoot. I met Mio for the first time in several years, and we had a short conversation. The shoot finished earlier than scheduled, which was nice.
17th
I woke up late. I listened to a Miles Davis album while having breakfast, and today’s work was a TV shoot featuring him. On my way to work, I couldn’t park my bicycle because the bike parking was full, so I left it in a vacant lot nearby Noborito Station. The work started in the afternoon, and it was very interesting. I worried about my bicycle during the shoot, but it was intact.

My wife and I went to our son's elementary school to watch the Nakasyou-Stage music presentation. It was his final performance there.
After that, we had lunch at a nearby ramen shop. We hadn't visited in several years.
After lunch, my daughter went home, so I made her some instant ramen with boiled egg and fried vegetables. Then I headed out for a late shift.
I went to Shibuya to set up the equipment for a radio recording, and later stopped by another radio station to picke up more gear.

I went to the office. I handed over the tour gear, worked on shipping equipment, preparation for tomorrow, and repair some broken gear. When Mabuchi visited the office, 1Q arrived at the same time, so 1Q took a photo of Mabuchi and me.

I went to the office before noon to receive the gear from yesterday's show, but by the time I arrived, the gear had already been unloaded. I finished checking and sorting the gear. After that, I drove the truck to Shibuya for equipment load-in.

I went to Fujikyu-Highland using local train lines. It took about two hours to get there.
The show went pretty smoothly.
Before the show started, I suddently felt like I needed to go to the bathroom, so I went there.
Originally, our schedule was to stay there, but all of the team members decided headed to their own destinations, so I made the same choice. Nishimoto drove the staff members to Shinjuku Station, so we were able to return home early.
I also received a report about another job I had asked Saaya and Matsuda to handle, and the tour went mostly smoothly,
12th
I prepared for tomorrow's show, which I won't be going to, and worked on another task. I tried few different drum-tuning methods. On my way home by bicycle, a strong, cold wind was blowing, so the ride was really tough.
11th
I went to the office to pick up gear, just like yesterday. In the afternoon, I had some free time, so I did some research on drum tuneing.

I worked a half-day shift to receive the gear from the 2nd show of the voice actor's tour. On my way to home, I snapped a photo of a cat sitting on a rooftop.

This morning, I found out that one of the online comic I'd been wanting to read was free, so I started reading it right away.
Before lunch, I took my windbreaker to a clothing repair shop nearby.
I made instant salt ramen for lunch and ate it with my daughter.
Afterwards, I ended up reading more comics, and I pretty much spent the whole day doing that.

I worked on a TV program shoot all day. For lunch, I had curry rice at the restaurant on the fifth floor. It’s my favorite dish, and I always customize it with lots of shichimi pepper, Tabasco, and a raw egg. I also finished some desk work during the downtime.

This morning, I finally managed to update my iPad. it hadn't been able to update due to a lack of free storage, so I reset it to clear the cache. For lunch, I made fried rice-my fourth times this week. After that, I cleaned the music gear room and then headed to Shibuya for my late shift.

I decided to take a half day off. because it's my son's birthday. We're going to celebrate at home with fried chicken.

I biked to Sakurajosui to try an old-fashioned Chinese restaurant.
I’d heard great things about its fried rice, so I finally gave it a try today.
The taste brought back memories of my childhood — especially the fried rice from a Chinese place near my old house.Afterwards, I went to Shimo-Kitazawa to buy some second-hand clothes.
For dinner, My family went to a yakiniku restaurant to celebrate my wife's birth day, which was a month ago.

I stayed off alcohol last night. At the office, I wrapped up some leftover desk work, like reports for the tour and a one-day work trip.

I got up a little after 10 a.m. and made yakisoba for lunch, which I ate with my daughter. I left home after 3 p.m. for my late shift and sent out some invoices at the office. For dinner, I stopped by a Chinese restaurant nearby and had la big plate fried rice. After that, I went to Shibuaya and Tatsumi to pick up some gear.

I went to Iidabashi to pick up the tool bag I forgot the day before yesterday. Before that, I visited a famous old-fashioned Chinese restaurant in Kagurazaka that I had wanted to try for a long time. I ordered their speciality fried rice, and it was really good. After lunch, I walked around Kagurazaka and Iidabashi. Afterwards, I picked up my bicycle.

Today I went to the office and finished some desk work. On my way there, I found three thousand yen on the ground and picked it up. Later, I called the Tokyo Metro lost and found center and confirmed that my tool bag had been delivered to Wako Station. When I was heading home. the gear shift wire on my bicycle snapped, so I stopped by a bike shop nearby to have it repaired.

I woke up before 5 a.m., so I got about three hours of sleep. I took the first Shinkansen to Osaka to join the veteran singer's show. Today’s venue was a kabuki theater, which I hadn't visited in about 12 years. The show was good. On my way to home, I accidentally left my tool bag on the train.
29th
The first show of the voice actor’s tour was held at a well-known live venue in Ebis. I've been there a few times before. I felt the show went pretty well overall. I focused on brushing up the band's sound. After the show, our whole team had a small party to celebrate the start of the tour.

This morning, I told my son off because he resisted doing the chores his mother asked him to do.
I went to the office and spent the whole day preparing for some upcoming work.
I also tried a new drum-tuning method for a small-diameter drum set. It turned out to be a interesting experiment.

This morning, I ran the robot vacuum in the living room for the first time in several months. After making fried rice for a late lunch, I went out in the afternoon to finish some tasks. I ended the day by driving to Shibuya to pick up some equipment.

This morning, I missed the train because I had checked the route incorrectly. I went to Yoga for the final rehearsal of the voice actor’s tour. The rehearsal went smoothly.

On the way home, I bought roasted sweet potatoes for my children.

My family, except for my daughter, went to Harajyuku to shop at IKEA. After that, we headed to Jingu Gaien to walk along the ginkgo tree street and see the autumn colors. It was clrowded, and I noticed many foreign tourists. Then, we tried to go a Sri Lankan curry restaurant, but it was closed. So we went to Shibuya and had lunch at Gold Rush instead. It was the first time in several years for my wife and me, and it was my son's first visit. He loved the humburg so much.

I went to the office at noon. I made a quotation and sent some invoices before unloading the equipment. After returned them, I drove the truck to return equipment.

Today was a rouine workday. I spent the morning unloading and checked in the equipment from yesterday's job. In the afternoon, I prepared for tomorrow's work. I was pretty tired by the end of the day, so I left the offce as soon as my shift ended.

I had breakfast near Fujisawa Station early in the morning. I had been a little worried about the equipment I arranged, but everything turned out to be fine, which was a relief. The rehearsal and show both went smoothly. After leaving the venue, I realized the gear had been packed incorrectly in the truck, so I pulled over and fixed it.

I went to the office to unload the gear that had returned from the tour. After releasing the equipment, I headed to Fujisawa to set up the gear for tomorrow's show. I arrived earlier than expected, so I had lunch near the venue. I ordered the dayly special, but it took about 20 minutes to be served, so most of my lunchtime was gone.
I felt a bit uneasy about whether the equipment I had arranged was okay, but it would probably be fine.

The tour wrapped up in Matsudo, and overall everything went smoothly. I had planed to have lunch at a chinese restaurant-what we called "machi chuka"-near Shin-Yabashira Station. However, it was closed, so I went to another Chinese place before starting work.

Today, I supported the tour of a female singer from Cabo Verde in Hachioji. Since the work started in the afternoon, I treated myself to a bowl of Hachioji ramen, the area’s specialty. It turned out to be much better than I expected. Sadly, the shop is closing next year.
The show went very smoothly, and the tour will wrap up with its final performance tomorrow.

I spent the morning checking the files and music for tonight’s show. After that, I reviced my recent English diary entries with Chat GPT. For lunch, I had a Taiwanese hot chili cup noodle and some fried rice. After lunch, I headed to Shibuya to work at a small live show by a female singer-songwriter. I was a bit worried because I don't have much experience with small live house events. Fortunately, everything went more smoothly than I had expected.

I went to the office. I considered taking afternoon off, but I was worried about the work coming up tomorrow and next week. so I ended up working the whole day.

I participated in a rehearsal for next week's TV shoot in Fujisawa. I met Kei and told him about what happend after the final show of the a vocal group's tour in Kokura.

I participated in a TV shoot and joined a meeting for another shoot in Fujisawa next week. The shoot went smoothly overall, but at the end it was delayed by more than 30 minutes.

Before sunrise, I left the hotel and caught an early morning flight to Haneda. When I arrived at the studio, I ran into Kota. I realized that we happened to be at the same studio. because of that, I was able to watch another rehearsal for the job I was asked to do this weekend.

I had the free breakfast at the hotel. After that, I went to the public bath and sauna. We headed to Fukuoka and arrived about two hours before the venue opened, so I decided to visit a famous ramen shop called issou. When I got there, there was already a long line, so I joined it and ended up wating for quite a while. At work, I adjusted the bass drum sound and tried a new method. After the show, I didn't eat out because I had to catch an early flight the next morning.

I visited in Kokura again just a week ago. When we arrived at Kokura Station, Tatewaki and I headed to Sukesan Udon to have lunch, like we had a week earlier. But the shop was busy, so we dedided not to eat there. I arranged to have the drums tuned because I was worried about them after the last show. After the show, we went for drinks near our hotel. Then we went to the ramen shop we had visited a week earlier.

I woke up around 7 a.m. and turned on a jazz channel on the web radio. It's my fovorite routine on my day off. It was a rainy Sunday. I tidied up some papers and organized a few things. I also checked my tasks and daily routines. For lunch, I made Niratama ramen. After lunch. I went to Nagai's barbar shop for a #haircut and ran into Dai Takahashi there. Nagai told me that Yoko would also be visiting later. Then, I came back home and made Hayashirice for dinner.

I went to Shibuya to work on a late-night TV show. I spent most of the day waiting, and finally took a taxi home via the capital high way. It only took about 30 minutes- faster than I expected.

I joined a new tour in Kasukabe that had already begun. Most of the staff were the same as last year's, so it felt comfortable and familiar from the start.

I went to the office around noon and broke down the tour gear. Later, I ended up having to buy some guitar strings for another tour that had already begun.

Annual vocal group’s tour got the finish that went smoothly. Before the rehearsal, I told Saaya about her worries about her job. After the show. We went to tour final party, After the party, A few of team membar were went out to more drinks and had good ramen.

This morning, I left home and headed to Kokura. Our team arrived there but we couldn’t check in because when before the time of hotel’s check in. We went to lunch at Sukesan udon. After lunch, we had free time each other. I visited Kokura castle. In the evening, we joined again and went some drinks.

I got to the office a bit earlier than usual. I shipped the gear for the final show of the vocal group's tour in Kitakyushu. then I prepared equipment for another tour and handled a few other tasks.

I rode my bicycle to the office. I spent the whole day preparing and checking the gear. I replaced the drumheads on one of the kits and started to get a better feel for the character of EVANS heads.
