25 July diary

31st

I worked on a TV program shoot today. The filling was delayed by up to an hour at most, but in the end, it finished only about 15 minutes behind schedule.

30th

I left home in the early morning for a full-day shift. On the way to Shibuya, I was surprised to hear that a tsunami warning had been issued. I took a short nap on the way back to the office. At the office, I completed some desk tasks and checked the condition of some Rhodes piano in preparation for tomorrow’s job. I also joined in an on line meeting for a job in september. Finally, I went back to Shibuya, but the schedule was significantly delayed.

29th

When I woke up, my son had already left for his day trip to Osaka. 

I went to the office and spent the entire day completing various desk tasks. 

28th

This morning, my son complained that I didn’t allow him to go on a day trip to Osaka today.  We talked it through and eventually reached a conclusion. After that, we went to Nakanoshima Station to buy Shinkansen tickets.

In the afternoon, I went to the office. As soon as I arrived, I spoke with sound team about some issues related to the job at Osaka Expo in September. Then, I headed to Shibuya to set up for a rehearsal.

27th

I unexpectedly had a day off. I was still tired from the family trip. I made lunch and dinner, and I also went to get a haircut. 

26th

This morning, I went to the spa before breakfast. My family and I visited a bakery, but there were only a few kinds of bread left since many had already been sold. My children and I visited a museum inside the hotel and an observation deck. 

After checking out of the hotel, we headed to Nobeyama by local train. However, I changed my mind on the way to the station, so I returned to the station where I had boarded and switched to a car insted. In the end, driving to Nobeyama turned out to be a good decision. My family and I joined again the station. 

Then we visited Takigawa farm, where we had soft-serve ice cream, and my children enjoyed feeding the caws. Afterwards, my son wanted to take the koumi Line back to Kobuchizwa, so we split up:he left from Nobeyama Staion, while the rest of us headed to Kobuchizawa by car, stopping at an amazing gallery along the way. 

For lunch, we had soba and tenpura-It was delicious. My daughter impressed by the gallery. We all met again at Kobuchizawa Station. where my wife and daughter picked out some souvenirs.

25th

Today, my family went on a summer trip. For breakfast, we had beef bowls at Yoshinoya. Then we visited MoeginomuraMy daughter and I went to the Orgel Museum which was more interesting than I expected. For lunch, we had curry rice at Rock, a famous reataurant in MoeginomuraAfter lunch, we visit Milk pot in Kiyosato. Afterwards, we bought food for our meals at Himawari Market. 

24th

I attended a meeting for a semi-regular job in Hongo. After that, I returned to the office. Finally, I went to Roppongi to retrieve some equipment. The schedule was delayed, and the loading entrance in a difficult condition.

23th

This morning, I went to a studio in Tamachi to join the start of a rehearsal and check on some issues, since I had assigned the work to Kinoshita because I won't be able to paticipate on the day of the show. After that, I returned to the office. I stopped by a Chinese restaurant for lunch and had a beef fried rice set meal. It was good. Finally, I went to Shibuya to load in and retrieve equipment. 

22nd

I went to the office. I wrapped up taking care of the musicians from last weekend's work at Expo and completed several desk tasks. I decided to go on a family trip this weekend, so I started preparing for it. Afterwards, I went to Ariake to load out equipment. I ran into Sugar and his manager, Arai, and we told about his solo concert that took place in Shibuya a few weeks ago.  

21st
I woke up at 7 o’clock and decided to go to the office early. For breakfast, I had Shin-Osaka soba—my favorite Osaka-style breakfast—at Naniwa Soba, located inside the local line area of Shin-Osaka Station. After arriving at the office, I completed some tasks and finished earlier than planned, so I went home ahead of schedule. I took a short nap in the evening.

20th
I woke up at 5 o’clock and felt well-rested. I took the subway to the Expo 2025 site. I started setting up equipment before 7 a.m., so it was finished before 8. After that, I decided to leave the venue for a bit to check out some Expo pavilions and take photos. Work was busy, but I found a little time to visit the large pedestrian circle and take some more pictures. The show went smoothly. After everything was done, Yumeshima Station was extremely crowded due to the Expo's closing time.

19th-When I woke up, I noticed over slept. First, I researched departure time so I didn’t it  last night. I realized that as soon as left home then I could catch up the train so I left home soon and could on the reserved Shinkansen. I met Sugiyama in Shin-Osaka Station. We used taxi to rehearsal studio. For dinner, I took some conveni-foods in a hotel’s room. 

19th
When I woke up, I realized I had overslept. I hadn’t checked the departure time the night before, so I looked it up first. I realized I could still make it in time, so I rushed out and managed to catch the reserved Shinkansen. I met Sugiyama at Shin-Osaka Station, and we took a taxi to the rehearsal studio. For dinner, I ate some convenience store food in my hotel room.

18th

I went to vote in advance before the official voting day. After that, I went to the office and worked on some tasks. Then I went to a juinor high school near the office to bring a small percussion instrument.

17th

For breakfast, I had the hotel's spicy curry-It was really good. After that, I went to a pedestrian bridge near the hotel. The show went smoothly with almost no troubles. On the way back to the office, I dropped Kinoshita off at Mizonokuchi Station. 

16th

I went to Koen street in Shibuya to deliver equipment. Then I returned to the office and headed to Kimitsu with Kinoshita to set up a trave-themed TV music show. Some trouble occurred durling the setup, but I managed to resolve it. After work, We had dinner at an  izakaya. The hotel we stayed at gave me slightly strange feeling. Kinoshita told me it used to be a love hotel, so the bathroom had some amaging gimmicky lighting effects and a jacuzzi. 

15th

An early typhoon brought unexpected wether, so I took the Nanbu line to the office. I spent most of the day preparing for upcoming work. In the evening, I went to Shibuya to dismantle the weekly regular program setup. 

14th

I felt sleep-deprived when I woke up. 

When I arrived at the office, the truck from yeasterday's other job had already arrived. 

I unloaded the equipment and then spent almost the whole day preparing for tomorrow's work.  

13th

I went to Yonago on a one-day business trip. It was probably my first visit Yonago in over twenty years. However, I spent the whole time working at the live house, so we didn't have any time to look around the area. 

Our return flight to Tokyo was delayed by about an hour and a half, so we had some drink in the airport lobby. 

When we arrived at Haneda Airport, the last train had already finished, so I took a taxi to our office with some our team member. Then I caught another taxi to go home.  

12th

Today, I was scheduled for a half-day shift in the afternoon, but I thought I would have a lot of work to do, so I decided to change it to a full-day shift. I made progress on several tasks for the September project. For lunch, I had large-sized cup of yakisoba for the first time in about ten years. It wasn't bad while I was eating it, but afterward, I felt a little sick.

11th

I took the Nanbu Line to the office because the weather forecast said there was a chances of rain. I spent the eintire day handling desk work for September projects.

10th

I drove a truck around Tokyo today. 

For lunch, I had iekei ramen in Komazawa. It was the first time in sevveral years that I'd had that kind of ramen.

9th

I didn’t drink any alcohol, but I stayed up late last night, so I felt sleep-deprived when I woke up. 

I had an early appointment at the dental clinic and finished my treatment there. 

After that, I went shopping in Shimokitazawa.

I had lunch at Mintei, my favorit old-fashioned Chinese restaurant. I chose the fried rice, which was marvelous. 

Then I bought some clothes, books, and other items.

For dinner, I'm going to make fried chiken and poteto with garlic. 

8th

I worked a full-day shift today. I went to Shibuya to setup for the weekly program. After that, I delivered some accessories to a venue in Hatsudai. Then I returned to the office and handled a lot of desk works until evening. Later, I went back to Shibuya and Hatsudai for retrieve the equipment and returned to the office again. I didn't have dinner tonight.  

7th

I went to the office. I packed some equipment to be shipped to the Osaka branch and finished some desk work. I also checked the sound of some guitar stompboxes, which were clones of the Centaur models.

6th

I took the day off and spent the whole day at home. I went to the nearby grocery store twice. After lunch, I took a nap and felt refleshed. For dinner, I'm going to make grilled green peppers stuffed with meat.   

5th

I participated in a cencert by a singer and actor. It was an emotional and wonderful performance. I returned to the office with Kobayashi. and after finishing today's work, we  walked to the station together. When we arrived, we ran into the Katayama couple. I didn't realize the woman with katayama was his wife, I might have spoken to her in a indifferent way.

4th

I went to a studio in Gakugeidai. Today, I decided to walk there from the station. As I expected, it was too hot and I ended up sweating. I attended the rehearsal setup and checked on a few matters. After that, I headed to the office. 

For lunch, I chose a Chinese restaurant that had several good reviews. I ordered a yakisoba set, and the portion was quite large for me. Somehow, I managed to finish it all. After lunch, I completed some tasks at the office.

3rd

I had breakfast at Sukiya on Orion street. On the way back to the hotel, I stopped by a shrine. SInce the venue didn't have wifi, I went to a connected building and completed some desk tasks there.

2nd

I didn’t have any alcohol last night, so I woke up early and got some tasks done before breakfast. I headed to Utsunomiya with Sano for a travel style music TV show. For lunch, We had soup gyoza at a gyoza shop near the venue-It was even better than I expected. The setup went smoothly. After work. Sano and I went out for drinks at a good yakitori place.

1st

This morning, I had slept in a bit. I completed some tasks. For lunch, I had beef tongue curry that I had been curious about, but it wasn't as good as I expected. I went to the office, then headed to Daiba to pick up congas. After that, I finished preparing for tomorrow. Finally, I went to Shibuya to pack up the regular TV broadcast setup. I didn't have any alcohol  tonight.

25 April diary

30th

I took the day off. I had a sore throat since yesterday and felt a bit dizzy. I made a bowl of coleslaw, but I didn't have much of an appetite.    

29th

I woke up before 7 a.m, took a shower, and checked put the hotel. On the way home, I bought shiumai at Shin-Yokohama Station for dinner. For lunch, my wife and I had retort pouch curry that was a coooaloration with the young actor's agency. It was sweeter than I expected, but still tasty.

28th
I went to Osaka for a show fuaturing a young actor. I visited a live music restaurant for the first time in several years. It used to be familiar place for me, as I went there every year during our annual club tour. The show went mostly smoothly.

27th

I went to the office by bicyle. It was a beautiful day and warmer than I expected. Taniyan was visited our office, and I had a brief chat with her. I picked up the equipment using car number 16, driving  smoothly and quickly. I took a half-day off. I'm planing to make anchovy batter poteto with some leftover anchovies as a side menu.

26th

I went to Shimokita with my daughter. We visited several secondhand clothing shops. We had lunch at Komeda Coffee and ordered just the right amount this time-we remembered how we ordered too much last summer.  

25th
I went to the office and took care of some desk work. 

For lunch, I had a bento with a meal I prepared in the last night.

In the afternoon, I attended a meeting about the assignment of new employees.

24th
I took a day off. I spent most of it reading comics and studying etymology. 

For lunch, I made instant spicy miso ramen with grilled spicy onions. 

For dinner, I cooked pasta with spring cabbage and anchovy.

23rd

I took part in filming a TV program with Takahashi and Matsumura, who are new employees. I got a feel for each of their personalities. The shoot went smooothly without a any issue.

22nd
Early in the morning, I went to Yotsuya for a show featuring Matsu. It was the first time in several months. After the rehearsal, I took a walk through the traditional Japanese garden at the hotel. Before the show, one of the device had been running in power-saving mode and ended up resetting the prgoram memory. Still, the show went smoothly. We finished early-before evening. We went for drinks in Akasaka before sunset.

21st

I went to Okubo again today for the second day of rehearsals, just like yesterday. Before rehearsal, I wanted to visit a curry shop I'd been intresteded in for a while. However, I got a message from a coworker saying the shop was closed unexpectedly. So, I went with my second lunch plan: getting takeout from famous kebab shop. I had tried  it onece before but couldn(t finih it, so I gave it another shot-but failed again. The rehearsal went mostly smoothly.    

20th

I attended a rehearsal for the actor's live show, which I was I participating in for the first time. The studio was familiar to me, but it was my first time being in that particular room. After the rehearsal, I received retort pouch currys, which was probably produced by the actor.

19th

It was a sunny day. My son went on a train trip to Chiba. The rest of the family visited to Chinatown and had lnch at a Chinese restaurnt that was on my list of place I wanted to visit. We enjoyed a delicious pork bowl and shrimp wonton soup. After lunch, we strolled around, enjoying the sights and street food. We took a break at a Taiwanese cafe and had some tasty Taiwanese sweets and tea. Later, We bought some food for dinner-bao buns, shumai, and coconut balls for dessert. It was a really satisfying holiday.  

18th

I took the day off. I woke up before 6 a.m. I felt like going out somewhere, but couldn't quite find the motivation, so I ended up just going grocery shopping for dinner. I spent most of the day rearching stock investments and studying etymology.

17th
I woke up at 6, probably because I had just the right aomount of alcohol last night. When I left home, I felt some discomfortable in my back. On the way to the station, I realized I had forgotten my phone at home, so I went back to get it and took a different route to work. I barely made it on time. Work was all about waiting for orderes the whole day, so I spent the time studying etymology. 

16th

I went to the office and attended a meeting with our entire section. After that, we had a welcome party for the new employees in Mizonokuchi.

15th

For lunch, my wife and I tried "Mafe", a limited-time Senegalese dish being served at Matsuya. It was really good. After lunch, we went grocery shopping at the supermarket next to Matsuya to get  for ingredients for dinner. I spent the afternoon reading some comics.  

14th

I went to the office. While I was working on some desk tasks, I receive a reminder message and realized I had fogotten to ship some equipment. Thanks to the reminder, I was able to avoid a problem. I was also asked to submit a staff list for the tour starting in June, but I hadn't finalized the schedule yet. I managed to put the schedule together in the end.  

13th
I went to Tachikawa for a show-the first one since our performance in Osaka two months ago. Before the rehearsal, I stopped by IKEA to buy a birthday present for Saki. I had heard durling rehearsal over two months ago that her birthday was today. The show went pretty smoothly overall. 

12th
This morning, I prepared everything for tomorrow’s show in Tachikawa and shipped out. After that, I tackled some desk work, but I couldn't stay motivated. So I messed around with some drum sounds and looked into how to use AI.

11th

When I woke up, I noticed some leftover tamagoyaki that made for my daughter's bento in the kitchen, so I ate it. I tried using"Cursor" an AI application, but I couldn't quite figure it out.

I went to the recentry renovated supermarket to buy ingredients for dinner. Later, I visited the eye clinic. The doctor told me that the prescription I received last month wasn't incorrect after all. 

For lunch, I made instant shio-ramen. I added a few twists to it, and it turned out really good-I enjoyed it with my son. 

After lunch, I made coleslaw and gave "Corsor" another try.   

10th
We had an early start this morning because the job had to finished on time. I worked alongside some contracted staff and new team member. It was the first time in a few months that I saw Yu-ta man again, and I also met Asari-chan, a prompter operator I'm quite familiar with. We managed to wrap up the work more or less on schedule.

9th
I ended up going back to sleep twice after breakfast this morning. For lunch, I made fried rice and had it with my wife. Just as I was about to leave the home, my son came and immediately ate the lunch I had saved for him. 

I went the office to get ready for tomorrow and worked on schedule from around June through autumn. After that, I headed to Shibuya to attend a lacate set up and to set up and pack down some DJ equipment.

8th

 I went to Okubo to attended a rehearsal for the show we worked on in Osaka two months ago. During a break, I had a half sized kebab sandwich - the same kind I had when my family visited Okubo before. The rehearsal ended much earlier than I expected.  

7th

I went to the office and took care of some gear prep for tomorrow and the day after. I also tried out a new guitarstomp box called "Spiritone"  but I couldn't really tell if it was any good. 

6th

I kept waking up early this morning, even before the alarm I'd set last night. In the end, I had breakfast at home-a change from what I had planned.

I went to an event I'd been asked to join last week. The headliner was a veteran band I  toured with last year. 

Althought I'm not directly involved, there are still some ongoing issues within their team, and to be honest, I don't think I'd concider working with them again because of that. 

The show itself went smoothly and was actually quite impressive, but I I'm still unsure whether I can get involved with them again while those problems remain unsolved.

5th

My wife picked up my daughter's high school uniform today. It was her first time wearing it, and she looked so really happy and satisfied with how it looked. Later on, our family-except for my son-had a little hanami. We went to the super market, picked out our favorite food and drinks, and enjoyed them by the artificial river in our neighborhood. 

4th

I went back to Shibaura to attend a rehearsal with the band I toured with last year. The rehearsal went really smoothly. 

3rd

My wife and children gone to my wife's parents home. I went to the office and completed tasks. I decided to took a half day off. A cell phone was delivered that bought for my doughter yesterday.

2nd

I had the day off and spent it at home with my daughter and son. In the morning, I took care of a few tasks. For lunch, I made fried rice, and we all enjoyed it together. After that, I relaxed with some comics and bought a cell phone for my daughter on Mercari.

1st

April 1st was a cold and rainy day. I had a rehearsal scheduled at Tamachi. I decided to take a bus from Shinagawa to the studio. Just as I arrived, Okita walked in. I hadn't been given much information about this job. so I told her that I had accepted it without knowing the details. She then shared her thoughts and explained part of the situation, Since it had been several months since I last worked on this project, and the circumstances had changed, the atmosphere felt different this time.

25 March dairy.

31st

This morning, I went to the hotel's large bath and enjoyed the sauna. Afterwards, my family had breakfast in our room. Later, we visited the Great Buddha. Unlike yesterday, the weather was very cold. For lunch, we had chinese food at an old-fashioned style Chinese restaurant. After that. we returned home, makeing the end of our annual family trip. 

30th

My family went to Atami for our annual family trip. It was a beautiful day. For lunch, we enjoyed delicious onigiri and fish soup by the beach. Later, we headed to Kamakura for our stay. The hotel was free becurse our company has a member there.

29th

This morning, I finished some tasks that were assingned to me last night. For lunch, I tried grilling frozen gyoza, but it didn't turn out well. After that, I set up a new iPad for my daughter. Later, I went to get a new pair of glasses, but they felt uncomfortable and messed with my depth perception, so  I couldn't use them. When I got home, my daughter had lost her online chat data. I tried to recover it, but unfortujnately, I couldn't.  

28th

I went to the office and started by unloading the quipment and returning it. After that, I transported equipments within Tokyo. I missed the usaual lunch timing, so I had it later.  

27th
I went to the hall where we had set up yesterday to take part in a TV shoot. At first, I helped with the band's set up, then spent most of the day on standby in case of any unexpected issues. I stayed up and watched over the band until the filming was finished.

26th

This morning, I received a massage allowing me to return a cell phone that I bought on Mercari but wasn't  working properly, so I went to a branch of the transportation company to send it. Later, I left home. While on the train, I noticed a message saying that the work start time would be delayed, so I dicided to change my lunch plan, I had a delicious a gyoza set meal. After that, I prepared for tomorrow at a familiar hall, and since I finished earlier than expected, I discussed some issues in our section with Kinoshita.

25th

I rode my bicycle to the office on a beautiful day. I finished preparing for tomorrow by testing a new method of bass drum tuning. 

24th

This morning, I cleaned the ceiling light and the top of refrigerator, wiping away a thick layer of dust. After that, transfered money to my investment account. Then, I went to the eye clinic for a vision check. For lunch, I made fried rice and enjoyed it with my kids. In the afternoon, I went grocery shopping without a specific plan and ended up deciding to make tonjiru with spam. In the evening, my daughter's new cell phone arrived, but it didn't work properly. I contacted the seller to report the issue.

23rd

I bought a cell phone for my daughter on Mercari. For lunch, my Family had instant the Sapporo Ichiban shio ramen-it really hit the spot.  After that, I stopped by the office before heading straight to Big Sight. I got there about three hours early and wasn't sure if I could enter yet, but I passed through the gate and waited in the temporary parking area. Since I had to wait for several hours, I brought my PC and spent the time organizing  my personal movies data. When the scheduled time arrived, I retrieved a set of gong more smoothly than I had expected.

22nd

This morning, I used a handheld vacuum cleaner to clean behind the sofa because I noticed that a lot of  dust had accumulate there a few days ago. Then, I went for a hair cut. At 5 p.m, I went to the office and completed some tasks. Later, I went to Shibuya to pack up a set for the house band work.

21st

I rode my bicycle to the office early in the morning. Ito was already there, waiting for me, as she had been sorting out some arrangements. Afterthat, I drove to Kinuta and Ariake to transport equipment. Once I was done, I headed back to the office and worked on the  same task as yesterday. Later, I went to Shibuya to set up some equipment for the previous day's work. Just as I was about to finish for the day, I had to deal with an issue involving a forgotten item, but I managed to sort it out before wrapping up.

20th

For lunch, I tried the shrimp Newburg source rice at Matsuya. since I had been crious about it. It was decent. but I'm not sure get it again. In the afternoon, I worked on composing two utility cable boxes. Later, I drove to Shibuya in a truck to pick up some equipment.

19th

It started snowing when I left home This morning, and the snowfall gradually got heavier. I had a TV shoot with a new comer. and luckily, we wrapped up earlier than planned.

18th

I took part in planning the disposal of equipment and prepared for tomorrow. I also inspected the Rhodes, which was scheduled for an overhaul, However, I couldn't find any defects. In fact, it was not just in decent condition.

17th

I went to Bay studio in Daiba again today, I was there for work on a long-running TV program sponsored by a medical company.

16th

This morning, I went to the hall to set up a transparent barrier soundboard. After that, I went to the coastside studio to transport equipment, Later, I returned to the office and loaded the equipments onto the truck. In the evening, I retrieved the soundboard I had set up in this morning. Finally, I went back to the coastside studio to hand over the truck.  

15th

This morning, I forgot my umbrella on the train. After completing some tasks. I took a half- dayoff. I bought a guitar magazine for the first time in several years because its  main article featured an impressive work from this year. 

14th

I went to the office and worked on a task that had been left undone for several months beause I hadn't been able to make time for it. 

13th
This morning, I cleaned up the bedroom with a robot vacuum. After that. I attended a TV program shoot for work, which started in the afternoon. I helped with the setup and put away the drums afterward. 

12th

My daughter graduated from junior high school today. My wife and I attended the graduation ceremony, which was better than I had expected. After the ceremony, our family-except for my son-had a soba lunch at home. Later, my daughter and I went to shopping to prepare for a celebratory graduation dinner.

11th

This morning, I tested a robot vacuum throughout almost the entire room in my house and got a feel for how it works. Later, I attended a meeting and rehearsed for my work scheduled the day after tomorrow.

10th

I went to the office, completed some desk tasks, and handled the equipment from yesterday's show. Afterwards, I worked on the composition of utility cable boxs, a task I had left unfinished for several monthes.

9th-Early this morning, I arrived in Shinkiba to participate in an event that had been postponed from last summer. The show was held twice in one day. Although the second performance ended later than scheduled, our work wrapped up earlier than I had expected. 

8th

I went to the office at noon and completed the shipping preparations for tomorrow's work. Afterthat, I finished some desk tasks. In the evening, I went to Yokohama to retrieve equipment. Snow started falling everywhere, and I wounder if it would accumlate so much that I wouldn't be able to return home. However, it stopped after a few hours.  

7th

This morning, I checked my breath alcohol concentration when I arrived at the office and I passed the test. I was a bit surprised since I had been drinking relatively late last night. After that, I went to Yokohama to set up the digital piano. While waiting for the set up time, I felt it might take longer than expected, so I placed the equipment in an appropriate location and return to the office. Later, I finished preparating for tomorrow and drove to Heiwajima and Daiba to care of some tasks.

I completed a broadcast TV program without major trouble. 

5th

This morning, I received a troublesome email regarding my work the day after tomorrow's. I maneged to handle it. After that, I finished setting up for tomorrow's TV show at a familiar venue.

4th

I went to the office and attended two meetings. In between, I managed to complete some of this week's tasks, so I was quite busy. Meanwhile, snow started falling.

3rd

I attended a rehearsal for the program that will be broadcast next Thursday. After that, I went to the office and finished some tasks. Today is Girl's Day, so my wife prepared our annual chirashi-sushi dinner to celebrate.

2nd

I went to Takadanobaba for an animation-related event. I handled the ukulele setup changes for two shows.

1st

Today, my family went to Shin-Yurigaoka for buy a set of high school uniforms for my daughter. We had to wait longer than expected, so we were quite tired. Afterward, we had lunch at a family restaurant. On the way home, we stopped by an electronics store, where I used about 23,000 yen worth of points that I had earned about a year ago. Since they were about to expire next month, I decided to use them to get a robot vacuum cleaner
