海外ドラマに夢中(＊＾＾＊)

こんにちは　冬が苦手な横浜校スタッフS田です

毎日寒いですね　皆様いかがお過ごしですか？

私はこの特に寒い時期、休みの日は家に引きこもってます

家で何をしているのかと言うと、専らDVD鑑賞です

家にいる時くらいは英語の勉強をしようと思い色々と試みたのですが

洋書を購入⇒部屋のオブジェと化した

英字新聞とってみた⇒溜まってしまいラッピングペーパーに

英語学習教材を購入⇒買っただけで満足！開いていない

３度目ならぬ４度目の正直となったのがDVD鑑賞なのです

映画のように１本で終わってしまうものだと、

飽きっぽい私には続けられないので

長い海外ドラマにしようと思い、見始めたThe　OC

まだまだ1stシーズンなのですが

やばいです

超ハマッてます

毎回これでもか！っていう位事件やトラブルがあり飽きません

英語の勉強には最初に字幕ありで見て、

次に字幕無しで見るのが良いそうですよ～

青山校スタッフU田さんはこのドラマの舞台、

オレンジ・カウンティに住んだ事があるとか

羨ましすぎる

私、アメリカ行った事ないんですよね

The OC見終わったら旅行でもいいので行きたいな～

Dear all,

I hope you all had a wonderful holiday!!

I was busy but had a great time.

The new year is a time for reflection but also a good time to look forward （‐＾▽＾‐） and think about what you want to accomplish this year. That is why we have New Year's Resolutions!!

I think it is important to have a few goals (even small ones) and to challenge yourself now and then. The difficult part is holding true to them and making the effort!!

I'll share with you a few of mine. First, I'm going to study 漢字 a bit harder this year (I promise!!). Another is that I'll make efforts to further my teaching qualifications. Finally, and I say this every year (but find it quite difficult!!), is to save more \\\\\\\\\\\\

What are your resolutions?? Think of something somewhat challenging!!

Hello everyone!

I'm happy to say this is my first blog entry at indyfolder

and a great way to start off the new year

Mine was, to say, a rather enjoyable day

I started with my usual routine by practicing music,

reading the news, getting ready for the day

Today would be a good day for me

because my friends and I were asked to play some music

in Ikebukuro for a new year's fest（‐＾▽＾‐）

So we got together, went through the music we were to play and headed out to play

Not surprisingly, people came and everyone was in a right mood

to enjoy themselves.

As is usual with these kinds of events,

I got a chance to meet some new people,

many of whom are musicians.

For instance, I met a singer named Eri who was in a band

that played reggae music.

She was fun to talk to and we arranged a day

that we could see each other play with our bands.

As midnight approached, everybody got themselves ready

to bring in the new year.

We watched television for the official countdown,

and once the timer changed everyone broke into revelry.

I thought about what kind of things I wanted to do this year,

what to accomplish

and figured it would be best to worry about these things in the morning

Afterwards, my friends and I went to karaoke and ended the night soon after that

So far 2009 has been a decent year,

so let's hope for a great time this year!
