横浜校スタッフ、年長組のM田です。

感の良い方だと、そういえばこの間はU田、その前がS田そして今度はM田！！
なんだか、indy folder は【田】が付く何やらいわくありげな所なのかな？
とついつい思ってしまうかも知れませんね。

さて、Xmasも終わり、早年末です。
ぐっと！寒さも厳しくなってきました。

空気もカラカラです。

すると、気が付くと巷では、

There's the flu going around.

です。

皆さんは大丈夫ですか？

風邪の撃退法で思い出すのが、武士道を愛した故三島由紀夫の言葉です。

「風邪は寒さで引くものではない！ウィルスによるものだ！」

というのがありまして、

実はM田はずっとこの教えを守り、真冬でもウェットを着てsurfing を楽しんでいます。

I love surfing so much!

来年には、
I'm going to celebrate my 60th birthday.

ですが、最近若返っている！？のではないかと怪しまれています。

秘訣は、Vege,Yoga and surfing !!

これから少しずつ若さの ヒミツを公開してゆきます。
乞う乞うご期待！！

ちなみに来年は

メリークリスマス！！

ところで今日は12月25日クリスマスですー。

でも日本ではなんだか24日のイブの方がメインっぽくないですか？

今日なんてスーパーではもうしめ縄飾り売ってましたよクリスマスムード台無し

日本ではクリスマスって、彼氏＆彼女のな日、またはちびっこのイベント

っていう意味合いが強いですよね～。

ちなみにアメリカでは明日の26日はボクシングデー

みんなでボクシングを楽しむ日です…ウソです

BOXをingするDAY箱を開ける日プレゼントを開ける日なのでーす。

日本のちびっこは25日に開けちゃってますよね。

日本にどう間違ってクリスマスが伝わったのか興味深いところです。

私はアメリカに４年近く住んでいたのですが、アメリカのクリスマスは家族で過ごす日

アメリカでクリスマスにデートするカップルは一人もいません

なんでそう言い切れるのか・・・だって店が開いてないんですもん

会社はもちろん、普段は24時間営業のスーパーも、デパートも、レストランも、映画館も…

クリスマスの日はぜーんぶ閉まってます街はまさにゴーストタウン

よりにもよってクリスマス当日にトイレットペーパーを切らしたことがある私は、

大都会ロサンゼルスで、トイレットペーパーを探して彷徨い歩いたものです

あっ、思い出した

アメリカのディズニーランドはクリスマスはガラ空きらしいですよ。

そんなわけで、世界各国のクリスマス事情についての質問は、アメリカ人、カナダ人、

スコットランド人の外国人講師に聞いてみてくださいね。

My First Christmas and New Years in TOKYO

Hi Everyone

I hope you are all enjoying the holidays, even though it is FREEEEZING cold

I went to the indyfolder Christmas Party

and had a great time meeting all of you

and hope to see you again soon

Dont worry, my hair is not really pink

But if you like the pink hair you can see it again on

the Christmas party blog,

we will post pictures of everyone

As you may or may not know,

I am from California and I am not used to

the cold temperatures of Tokyo winter

*brrrrr* Honto ni Samuii yo

This is my first Christmas in Tokyo

and my friends tell me that I NEED A DATE
I usually spend Christmas with my family,

but since I can not see my family this year

I must go on a date... haha

So I tried to find a date,

but I am too HAZUKASHII(/ω＼)

So I will go out with my friends,

but we can not decide if it is better to celebrate

on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day...

Which is best

I think Christmas Eve is best,

but they say that it will be too busy

My friends also tell me that it will be very busy on

new years

Many parties whoo hoo
BUT the parties for new years will be very expensive

DESHOO I better work hard ne

My bestfriend tells me that after New Years there will be big SALES

I am excited to go shopping(-^□^-)
Where is the best place to go shopping in Tokyo?

I like Harajuku because i like vintage clothes

In California, during new years I am usually performing (hip hop dance)

but this maybe I will just watch performers.

My favorite place to take dance lessons is in Shibuya.

My friend wants me to join her gym but

I said NO I WANT DANCE CLASSES

I think it is the funnest way to work out and looks cool too.

If you have any advice for me

this Christmas holiday please tell me
