稚魚図鑑第二版（2014）など、世界の主要な稚魚同定ガイド（下記）でまったく引用・参照されてないが、上記 Dileep (1989) の博士論文は重要（貴重）であると思う。記載種は上記の初紹介記事を参照されたい。
ちなみに，Ahlstrom 追悼国際シンポの論文集（Moserら編，1984 ONTOGENY AND SYSTEMATICS OF FISHES）では、以下の論文１件が引用されている。
