今英文和訳の仕事をしているが、稚拙な英文を格調高い日本語に訳さなければならないその状態に気持ちが乱されなかなか指が進まない。それで、少々横道に逸れて、私が大好きな曲「夢の途中・セーラー服と機関銃」の歌詞を英訳してみた。英語から日本語へと脳が固定化している時に、その反対をやると、気分が転換して脳が目覚めるからだ。
