We object to the registration imposition of the phone number by Twitter decidedly.
The reasons are as follows.
Firstly there is the concern for offering personal information. Twitter prepares for setting to invalidate the search feature by the phone number. However, by the initial setting, I become a target of the search. This will be taken with big invasion of privacy for the user of Twitter.
Then, there is a very unequal limit for the heavy user to be able to make only one account in one phone number.
I am so, too, but, for the plural account maintainers, come to have to prepare for a phone number by just that much. As a result, accounts of Twitter may decrease. This will be the phenomenon that is not desirable for Twitter.
I state that Twitter cooperates with other SNS using this phone number, but there is the user who does not expect this. Twitter should consider this sufficiently.
Based upon the foregoing, we oppose obliging Twitter to register a phone number decidedly.
