カウントダウン4 Days となりました。
今回の歌は、本田美奈子ちゃんが残してくれた散文をもとに作られた歌です。
美奈子ちゃんのLIVE FOR LIFEのイベントでみんなで歌える歌を作り上げよう！
と、高杉社長はじめ、私の所属している事務所の社長、故市瀬社長と昨年から温めてきた企画なのです。
素敵なご縁でシンガーソングライターの半崎美子さんが作詞、作曲を担当してくださり、最初に日本語バージョンが出来上がりました。
英語バージョンのお話はその後に上がり、少しアレンジをかけよう、ということになりまして、山川恵津子さんがアレンジを担当してくださりました。
山川恵津子さんには、デビュー当時のアルバム、COLORFUL BOXに素敵な歌を書いていただいています。
山川恵津子さんアレンジを最初に聞いた時に、わお❣️とてもポップでハートフルな歌になったなぁ、という感想でした。
半崎さんのバージョンは大地のように重量感があり、山川さんバージョンは、ハートフルで、大勢の方々と歌を共有しているイメージが湧きました。
誰が歌っても分かりやすい英語にしよう、とそこから一気に英語の歌詞を書き上げました。
