ウーランド島の野鳥捕獲とパンデング
Capturing birds and birds banding at Ottenby of Oland
Ottenby is aparadise for all migratory birds, of course, ornithologists.
Ottenby Lighthouse at the extrem south of Oland
We can climb up the spiral staircase and look over the Baltic Sea.
ウーランド島最南端にあるオッテンビ灯台
高さ40mラセン階段を登ってバルト海を眺めた
the north view from the top of Lighthouse.
The houses at foot of the lighthouse are the bird observatry and a restaurant.

この三角のところに野鳥は追い詰められ捕獲されバンデング
At the end of trap the researchers capture birds and quickly release after banding.
カスミ網も張ってあったが時間は決められている

カモ用のトラップ ほとんどマガモが捕獲されていた

捕獲されたマガモは段ボール箱に1羽づつ入れられ
各部位を測定しバンディングされていた。
嘴を開けて麺棒で喉をスワブし3点サンプリングしていた。
サンプルはカルマー大学に運びウイルス検査される

ウーランド島の野草
Wild flowers at Mockelmossen of Oland
モッケルモッセンというところで野草観察した。
池があり荒涼としたところ、リンネもこれらの野草は観察しているはず
I was taken to Moclemossen,wilderness,of Oland where I observed
wild flowers. These must have been observed by Carl Linnaeus.

リンネとウプサラの野草
Linnaeus and Wildflowers of
ウプサラに行ったらリンネ博物館に行ってみたいと思っていた。
夢は叶えられたた。しかし大したものはなかった。少しがっかり。
リンネの膨大なコレクションはリンネの死後未亡人が英国人に
売り渡してしまっている。英国のロンドンにリンネ協会がある。
If I go to Uppsala, I would like to visit Linnaeus Museum.
My dream came true, however I could not see Linnaeus’s enormous collections here.
An English scientist and collector, James Edward Smith acquired them from Son of Linnaeus、and established Linnean Society of London.

グスタビアヌム ウプサラ大学の博物館

バイキング時代の舟形の墳墓やエジブトのミイラも
展示されていてこの大学の偉大さがわかる
グスタビアヌムの内部でローマーの円形劇場のようだが
ここで200人の医学生が解剖を学んだところ
屋根の円形窓からの光が解剖台に集まる設計になっている
