お疲れ様です。
I’m Tanguy, and I'll be writing the fourteenth new student self-introduction blog. Nice to meet you!
I have to apologise for writing the post in English, but I’m still learning Japanese so I'm counting on your patience.
Name: Tanguy CAPPELLE (call me Tanguy)
Faculty: Graduate School of Engineering, department of Architecture
Speciality: Back
I’m an exchange student from France and I’ll be staying in Osaka University for one year. I’m 23 years old. In France, my major is Architecture and Civil Engineering. I’ve finished my Bachelor’s degree last year, so I’m currently on the first year of my Master’s. If anyone is curious, my home universities are called Ecole Nationale Supérieur d'Architecture de Paris LaVillette (ENSAPLV) and l'Ecole Spéciale des Travaux Publics (ESTP).
Regarding my swimming history, I started swimming when I was still a baby, so I’ve been swimming all my life. I started competing at 12. Some time after I turned 18, I was forced to stop swimming, because I had serious tests to prepare to enter my university. And once I enterred my university there was barely any swimming club so it's been 5 years since I swam seriously. However I still continue to swim because before stopping I was close participating in the french national championship and I would like to realize the times to qualify myself before quitting.
For my hobbies and likes, I’m a really simple person. I like all sorts of sports, mostly tennis and pádel. If you wanna play don't hesitate to contact me. I also like to play volleyball and football even though I'm not really good at those. I prefer to watch football. I also watch formula 1 even though the hours are going to be complicated while in japan. In winter , I really enjoy snowboarding. I have heard lots of great stuff about Japan's snow so I'm eager to try. I like anime and manga, I don't have a clear favorite but I like stupid funny ones like grand blue.
Finally, I really like to travel, which is one of the reasons why I ended up choosing Japan for my exchange program. I never went to Japan it's my first time so I'm excited to discovers lot of new things, so don't hesitate to propos me some things or guide me around good spots I need to visit.
I’ve been studying Japanese for 2 months and I still need a lot more practice, so I hope everyone can teach me more.
I am here to learn a lot about Japan's culture, so please guide me along. I look forward to spending time with everyone ^^.
