I am David and this is the first time I write a blog, so please be indulge.
I want to use this opportunity to introduce myself to you a little bit.
I am 25 years old and a graduate student at the Technical University of Munich. I am majoring in business and mechanical engineering. I am in the OUSSEP program here at Osaka University. So I study more random subjects, not really related to my major, but it is interesting. I came to Japan in September (unfortunately my Japanese Level is still very low but I will try my best to improve it).
But I can speak German or English with you if you want to. Otherwise in my free time I love to travel all over the world and especially Asia. Before I decided to go to Japan I traveled already around for a short time. I like Japan the most of all countries I visited so fare and I am really enjoying the time here. People are very nice, the culture is interesting and the food delicious.
Well what else is to say. My hobbies in Germany are skiing and going to the gym. And as nearly every German I love to go out and drink beer with my friends. Luckily the beer in Japan is also very good and I was able to spend some good times in Izakayas or at Yakiniku Restaurants.
My intention to join the swimming club was that I haven´t done sport for half a year. Nobody told us how to join a club or circle last semester and we don´t have this kind of clubs in Germany. Fortunately we heard that it is maybe possible to join this semester and I wanted to give it a try. Swimming used to be my favorite sport when I was a child so I decided to ask if it is possible to join. I was glad to hear and to see that the members of the swimming club are very helpful and try to integrate me. The language barrier makes it sometimes difficult but because of the commitment of the members I am able to enjoy the club life. Thank you all!!
OK, enough about me, now I want to talk shortly about todays practice.
I attached a picture of the practice plan for today.

The other freshmen and me had a different training. We concentrated on practicing kick for back and crawl. For me kick is the hardest part so it is good that we practiced that.
Sorry for writing so much.
Nice to meet you all!
