留学のため、カリフォルニアにある大学院5校に出願したところ、そのうちのひとつから合格通知をいただきました！！！

いわゆるTOP校とはほど遠い学校ではありますが、カリフォルニアワインを日本に広めるという私の将来のビジョンにはマッチした学校。

Congratulation! レターには、こんなことが書いてありました。

The Admissions Committee also noted your interest in the California wine growing industry. I wanted to let you know that the XXX（学校名） is ideally situated in one of California's premier wine growing regions. We have substantial wine industry infrastructure in the area where opportunities abound. Our faculty and student teams at the XXX Center ・・・ have worked with a number of companies in the wine industry, including one of the top companies, Ernest and Julio Gallo.

要は、「カリフォルニアワイン業界に興味があるなら、うちの学校はもってこいよ」みたいなことです。

うーん、夢が膨らみます。

最終的には、残り4校の合否を見て決めますが、少なくとも渡米することは決まりました！
