"Sound!Sound!Sound!"
On February 28th, I went to see a classic concert which one of my friends
of school performed. He studied singing to be an opera singer in Japan, but
now he aims to be a musical actor. I wouldn't say anything about the concert
because I don't have any sense of clasical music and also musical. I would say
his aim is clear enough. As I mentioned before, there are a lot of people who
have big dream, desire, and aim like him in Nwe York. And they are going their
way to gain their dreams. Their challenges and success served as a stimulus
for my study. I have to follow them...

As I wrote yesterday, I helped my aquaintance's work about 3 weeks ago.
For the part of the work, we had to take pictures of clothes. So I offered
my friends who are photographer and fashion stylist to take pictures of them.
He told me there are many photo studio in NY, but if we rent it for a day, it will
cost about 400$. That's pretty expensive... So, we decided to make my room
like a photo studio.
We did good job!! But... there were too many stuff to take pictures for a day.
When we finished taking pictures of them all, it was 3:00am...
I got really tired, but I had a great experience I have never had before.
昨日のBlogにも書いたように、知り合いの社長の仕事をお手伝いしてたわけなんですが、
その仕事の一部で、服の写真を撮らなければいけなかったんです。
で、僕がNYで知り合ったPhotographerさんとStylistさんに手伝ってもらうことにしたんですが、
問題は撮影場所。
NYにたくさんPhoto studioはあるそうなんですが、1日借りると４００＄くらいかかるそうです。
しかも、量的に1日で終わるかどうかわからない状況で、コストがかかりすぎる…
ってことで、僕の部屋がPhoto Studioに大変身！！
１０帖ほどのスペースに本格的な機材をセットして、ナントカカントカ撮り終える事ができました。
時計は午前３：００でしたが…
お二人とも良く頑張ってくれました。お疲れ様です。
僕はDirectorという肩書きをもらい、撮った写真をチェックするだけで、何もしてないのですが、
さすがに、この撮影日の３～４日前くらいからあまり寝てなかった上に前日は徹夜という
ハードスケジュールにさすがに疲れました。
でも、これもすごく良い経験ができたと思っています。
日本で仕事していたら、こんな全く違う分野の仕事に携わらなかったと思うので。
ここNYで得るもの全てが自分の人生の糧になる。。。今しか出来ない色んな事にチャレンジしよう☆
ちなみに下の写真は２月下旬に行われたFashion week 2010 in NYです。
残念ながら今回も中には入れず、外から眺めただけです…
