I went to a hair salon in NY for the first time 1 month ago.
That said, it's Japanese one though.
I didn't have the courage to go to an American salon...
Actually I had my hair permed, but it's already gone.
So, I'm thinking that the next hair style is buzz-cut which I've
never tried in my life?!

Hotaru.
I saw some "Hotaru"in front of my house tonight.
It's called "a firefly" or "lightning bug"in English...
I would call it "Hotaru" since it sounds weird to me.
By the way, I have been trying to be good at cooking since I came to NY.
Well, I was interested in cooking, but I didn't have enough time and it was
not necessarily to cook in Japan.
I think it's on the way to improve, but it's definitly getting better than before.
今夜、家の前で蛍を見ました。
英語では“ｆｉｒｅｆｌｙ”や“ｌｉｇｈｔｎｉｎｇ bug”って言うんですが、やっぱ蛍は“Ｈｏｔａｒｕ”
がしっくりきます。
ＮＹに来てから、自分で料理しないといけないという事もあって、うまいもんが作れる
ように努力してます。日本にいる時から、料理に興味はあったんですが、どうしても
時間がなかったり、必要に迫られなかったりで、なかなか。。。
最近やっと少しずつ進歩がみられるようになったような気がします。
まだまだ発展途上ですが…
これ、今日の晩ご飯「冷やし中華」です。（具を欲張ったせいで麺が見えませんが。）

Summer & Beach.
Now, it's midnight and 90℉. It was 98℉ in the daytime today...
I almost die.
It has been so hot and humid recently.
I didn't have a class yesterday because of a Monday makeup holiday.
I went to Rockaway beach with my coworkers yesterday.
We were supposed to rent surfboards from my coworker's friend who lives
near by beach, but he had been away and came back in the afternoon.
So, we couldn't surf even if it was our main event and made by the other coworker
and me... I could really enjoyed sunbathing and felt relaxed at the beach though.
Fish Taco with guacamole was really nice!!
I should go back soon and try my first surfin' .
By the way, I knew the ultraviolet rays here were strong. So I put on alot of sunscreen.
but...
I couldn't reach the center of my back! Ouch!!
今、深夜１２時なんですが、気温31℃です。昼間は37℃でした…
死んじゃいます。
最近、めちゃめちゃ暑くて、湿度も高いんですよ。
昨日は振り替え休日で、学校もお休みだったので、バイトの友達とRockaway Beachへ。
バイトの人の友達がBeachのすぐそばに住んでいて、Surfboardを借りれるということ
やったのですが、帰ってくるのが夕方になるということでサーフィンはお預け。
もう一人の友達とサーフィンしに行こうぜって事で海に行ったんやけど…
でも、久しぶりにのんびり日光浴ができて、かなりリラックス！
このFish Tacoってのがマジうまかった。
また近いうちに、初サーフィンリベンジしにこないと。
で、こっちはホンマに紫外線が強いから、たっぷり日焼け止め塗ってたんやけど…
背中の真ん中は手が届かなかったみたい。。。
痛い…
