you が一般の人を指す事例を集める。
① you を訳さない。
② 「人」、「人たち」とする。
③ 質問の you を受けて you で答えるている。意味は「私」。
④ you (they) find ... = there is (are) ...
⑤ you had to be there = 「その場にいなければわからない」
⑥ you would care to meet = そんな人かいたら会ってみたい（反語）→ そんじょそこらにはいない → めったにいない。
⑦ 擬人的に、人でないものに呼びかける。例： what have you done to my heart? = ここでの you は April in Paris。
