日本のバレンタインは、女性から男性に愛を告白したり、
日頃の感謝を込めてチョコレートなどをプレゼントする日ですが、
チョコレートはプレゼントするよりされるほうがいいなぁなんて思ってしまいます

My Heart Complication
It just doesn’t listen to every word I say.
It is difficult to tame and even more difficult to teach.
The heart has its own vocabularies.
When you say no, it says yes.
When you say stop, it says go.
When you say enough, it asks for more.
When will it ever learn?
The heart has a drug of its own.
It is what you call passion.
It drinks on it and gets high on it that it forgets the reality.
It forgets the reality that some things can never be meant to be.
Passion is like thirst but an eternal thirst.
It can never be quenched, even when it’s had its share of magic and pain.
It never says enough.
It was mid of Summer when I saw you and mid of Autumn when I finally got to meet you.
For what it’s worth, I can say it was magical.
But I know I was walking into trouble just at the first sight of you.
And since the heart’s got a mind of its own, it went in anyway and dove in with you.
This ecstasy, I know, will be short-lived because there is a different life waiting for you.
And someday, I’ll be out of this madness.
Pretty soon, it’ll be returning you to it’s rightful owner.
The heart should be happy to be free by then but instead the sorrow is starting to creep in.
And that’s the heart complication.
It has a world of it’s own and a totally different set of vocabularies.
