天真正伝香取神道の最終目的は、家族の幸福と子孫の繁栄です。そのためには、あらゆる争いから逃れなければなりません。知恵をもって争いから逃れるために、崇高な道徳観と広い知識を養わなければなりません。争いに巻き込まれたときに生き延びるために強い肉体と精神を鍛えなければなりません。天真正伝香取神道流は、武力でなく知恵をもって争いを避け、生き延びることを第１と教えております。
The ultimate goal of Katori Shinto-ryu is the happiness of the family and the prosperity of descendants. In order to do so, we must escape from all conflicts. In order to escape from conflict with wisdom, you must develop a high sense of morality and broad knowledge. You have to be physically and mentally strong to survive when you are involved in conflict. Katori Shinto-ryu teaches us that the most important thing is to use wisdom to survive without fighting by military force.
