Nature of Katori Shintoryu

Key learnings from Katori Shintoryu which is an origin of Japanese martial arts

Everyone is wondering what to do to master martial arts. As my teacher told me, I practiced over and over again, and worried over and over again. Then, little by little, you will come closer to the realm of the master. Mr Kyogo Furuhashi, a soccer player active overseas, expressed the process of knowledge, consciousness, unconsciousness for their progress. We should understand the meaning of the technique, consciously repeat the movement of the technique that makes sense, and finally practice until you can unconsciously perform the movement of the technique. It is a word worthy of discerning eyes. I remember my teacher, Mr. Risuke Ohtake, telling me to train until my body moves automatically, even when I'm thinking about tomorrow's work. It is an unconscious movement.

Although the way to learn is different, the process to learn is the same.
