【きっかけ】
大学生の私たちにもできることは何か、考えてたどり着いたのがチャリティーイベントの企画でした。
イベントを通じて
①募金をする、集める
②想いを伝える
その想いとは
東日本大震災を、そして日本のこれからを
『考え続けること』が大切だということ。
『考え続けること』は、
誰もが簡単にできそうですが
実は非常に難しいことです。
毎日を楽しく過ごしつつも
どこかで考え続けていてほしい。
考え続けることがいつしか大きな力になることを信じて
このイベントの実施を決定しました。
様々な形で(来場、パフォーマンス、講演、募金、協賛、イベントを広める、運営・・・)
このイベントに関わって下さった方々が『楽しむことができる＝元気をもらえる』イベント
『もう一度震災について考えるきっかけとなる』イベント
の実現に向けて日々取り組んでおります。

Welcome to the page of our campaign “Keep in Mind 3.11”
We are running our campaign in order to collect donation for UNESCO.
When: 2011/07/15
Where: at the Okuma Garden House in Waseda University

<About the event>
There will be many kinds of dance performances by Waseda’s dance circles such as Yosakoi (Japanese traditional dance), Tap dancing and so on. We’ll invite some Waseda students who went to a disaster-stricken area practically for volunteer, and you will have a chance to listen to their stories. Also, after the performance and speeches, we are holding a session to talk to the performers and other volunteers.
<Why we started this campaign>
We were totally shocked with this tragedy that hit the Tohoku area in Japan, and we discussed what we can do. We don’t have much money to donate, but we university students have time and energy to make some contribution.
It is very sad, but we cannot deny that we are returning back to normal daily life that we used to live before the earthquake happened, and gradually forget the feeling we had right after the tragedy. We think that all of us need to keep thinking about the tragedy and try to contribute to rebuilding Japan together.
Finally we concluded that what we can do is to plan this charity event in order to remind people of this tragedy and make them remember victims. Also we are trying to raise money to donate by using this page.
