In this blog post, we’d like to introduce Rugby School Japan (RSJ), a cutting-edge British-style international boarding school that opened in Chiba Prefecture in 2023. Students at RSJ can choose either to board or to commute. Many students naturally progress from Clarence International School to Phoenix House International School, and then on to RSJ.

One of our members has followed this educational path and is currently enjoying a fulfilling school life in Year 7 at RSJ.

RSJ features a house system reminiscent of the one from the Harry Potter stories, offering learning support, extracurricular activities, enrichment sessions, and special events.

The state-of-the-art campus is well-equipped with science labs, a black box theater, a garden campus, art studios, a design & technology center, sports facilities, a medical center, and more.

RSJ runs a highly regarded, high-level academic program, providing a rich educational experience through partnerships with universities, guest lectures, various competitions, and regular off-campus learning opportunities. Many students aim for admission to top universities around the world.
