番組冒頭（と終わり）でやり取りされる大西先生、ろーざさん、デイビットさん３人の会話の書き起こしです

O：いやー、今度、鯛を食べに行くんでねぇ。愛媛の人に挨拶をし「たい」と思いまして。
R：「たい」したもんだよ。
O：はは。ラジオ英会話～ハートでつかめ！英語の極意～講師の大西泰斗です。
R：Akino Roza here.
D：And I'm David Evans. Let's get started, guys.
O：それでは早速始めていきましょう。

D: Well, among bass players maybe. Speaking of bass players, how was Paul on his last day?
S: He left the band a bit disappointed.
D: Why was he disappointed?
S: Well, he was expecting Bill to make a farewell speech...but Bill didn't.
D: Ah, yeah. Bill hates long goodbyes.

awesome ☞ 「素晴らしい」という非常に強調度の高い表現
D: "Awesome" is a little over the top for an introduction, but Derek is a rocker, so it's OK here.
O：なるほど。ここで、初めての挨拶として awesome はちょっといき過ぎな気がするけれども、まぁ、rocker だからいいですよねという話でしたね。

（彼は長い別れが嫌いです）
long goodbye と限定詞がないのは、「長い別れの挨拶を含むそうした状況（一般）」を示しているから
