B: You can watch videos on your phone.
D: I know. But that's not the only reason. I got asked my age by a few people, and I don't like that.

過去分詞を用いた説明型オーバーラッピング
get + 過去分詞（get 受動態）
「～になる」といった大きな変化を表すわけではないが、get の「動き」によって「出来事が起こった」感触や、「予期せぬ・突然・驚き」など話し手の感情が加わる。
ダイアログの I got asked my age by a few people. も「突然尋ねられ不快に感じた」といった、I was asked ~ には感じられない感情が加わっている。
