・・・・・・・っということで、友情を考えるとき、いつも思い出す曲がある。
サイモン＆ガーファンクルの【I Am A Rock】
1966年の歌だ。
彼等の歌は当時一世を風靡したといってもいいくらい、流行したデュオだ。
ボクらみたいな若造は必死になって、彼等の歌詞を覚えたものだ。
その歌詞の中に、
「I have no need of friendship; friendship causes pain. 」
というフレーズがある。
訳す必要もないだろうが、
「ぼくは友情なんていらない、友情は痛みを生じるだけだ。」
という意味だ。
