「Navy color」、つまり海軍色の由来について
エポカルの製品に使われるカラーは、ホワイト、ネイビーが多いのですが、実は、私の好きなカラーだからです。
マリンスタイルって男女ともに使えますね(^^)/
始めエポカル製品は、90cmワンサイズのパーカーから始まりました。
兄妹が生まれても、長く使ってもらえる製品にしたくて、マリンスタイルを目指しました(^^)/
特に好きなネイビーカラー。
「Navy color」は、その名の通り海軍（Navy）で使用される色から来ています。
特に、イギリス海軍が18世紀半ばから制服として使用した濃い青色に由来します。
海軍の制服は、濃い青色が夜間の視認性を低くするため、敵からの発見を防ぐ役割もありました。
また、この色は権威と信頼感を象徴することから、海軍にふさわしいと考えられました。
その後、他国の海軍や商船でも採用され、広く「Navy color」として知られるようになりました。
この色は現代でもフォーマルなシーンやビジネスシーンでよく使われており、信頼感や落ち着きを与える色とされています。
歴史が詰まった色ですね。
