andをきちんと理解していれば
ボキャブラリーが少なくてすみます^^

だからあえて
ポイントのボキャブラリーで難しいのは載せていません。


まず
こう考えてください！

【「and」は同じ形・意味をつなげる】


例えば名言だと

contradict and confute (どちらも不定詞のtoに繋がるV)

talk and discourse (どちらもfindの目的語)

で、
この A and B なんですが

A ≒ B になります。

AとBはほぼ同じ意味になります^^

つまり
【A(もしくはB)がわかればB（もしくはA）がわかる】

そして、もっと言うと
【AかBのどちらかだけわかれば、内容に支障がない】
ということになります。

そこで
「confute」「 discourse」というあまり見慣れない言葉がありますが、、、

知らないorz と断念しないでください！


contradict and confuteなので、confuteも反対する感じかぁ…

talk and discourse なので、discourseも話す感じかぁ…

で大丈夫^^

V A into Bは「AをBに入れる・変える」という意味の句動詞！

この２つはdistilを頑張って覚えるよりも今後１００倍応用できます。

ought to Vはshould V（Vすべき）と一緒、

theyが指しているのはfeelings、

そして
受動態なので能動態に戻して書くと、

→ should distil the feelings into Action

ここでさっき出て来た

「想いを行動に変えるべきだ」
