distilは覚えなくていいですヽ(゚∀゚)ノ パッ☆
覚えてほしいのは2つ。
dis は「分離・否定」という意味の接頭辞!
と
V A into Bは「AをBに入れる・変える」という意味の句動詞!
この2つはdistilを頑張って覚えるよりも今後100倍応用できます。
名言で "they ought to be distilled into Action" とありますね。
ought to Vはshould V(Vすべき)と一緒、
theyが指しているのはfeelings、
そして
受動態なので能動態に戻して書くと、
→ should distil the feelings into Action
