Parade in PEI

なにやらパレードがあったようです。



日本では、出店やら近隣のお店やらが
色々販売しますが、ＰＥＩではそういったものは
ないようです。

多くの人が折りたたみのイスを持ってきて、
パレードが終わったら、即退散してしまうそうです。

Ｇは日本のお祭りが恋しいようです。

Mikmaq Festival

Beautiful annual festival to celebrate Mikmaq culture.
Mikmaq are indigenous to Canada's Atlantic Provinces.
There are about 65.000 Mikmaq population in Canada.
（北米のインディアン“ミクマク族”の恒例のお祭りが開催されていました。）
（ミクマク族はカナダに65,000人もいるんです。）


Girl's Butterfly dance, most graceful and most powerful dance.
（女性の蝶のダンスは、優雅で力強いダンス）


Mikmaq in their traditional costumes.
（ミクマク族の伝統的な衣装です）


Men dance to honor the spirit of their family members who already passed away.
（男性は、亡くなった家族のために踊ります。）


It is very strong, very emotional dance.
The dancers are in a trance when they are performing.
If you want to honor the spirit of your ancestors you must offer tobacco to a person who plays the drums.
（その踊りは、とても力強く、感情的です。）
（踊り手は、トランス状態で踊っています。）
（もしあなたが先祖の魂を尊重したいのなら、太鼓の人にタバコを渡さなければいけないのです。）

I bought a dreamcatcher.
In Native American culture it is believed this dreamcatcher would filter out all bad dreams abd only allow good thoughts enter our mind.
Once the sun rises, all bad dreams just disappear.
I often have nightmares, so I hope this will help me .
I was told it will work but you have to believe in it.

Hello Boys!

There is a charity event in Canada and it's called "Children's Wish".

This foundation helps Canadian families by granting the favourite wish of a child disgnosed with a life threatening illness.

These guys in a full military uniform help the foundation raise money by going around offices and department stores and asking fir donation.



I have never seen anybody who said "No" to these guys.

Common, Ladies, how is it humanely possible to say no to children and to this group.

上の話は"Children's Wish"と呼ばれる協会のチャリティーのお話です。
軍服を着た彼らが、恵まれない子供たちのために、職場や家庭を
回って募金を募っていくようです。
