The purple Honu is me and the green one is my honey. They love each other.

Honu" means green sea turtles in Hawaiian language, as I touched on before in "Nau Ko'u Aloha," but I also call the purple turtle "Honu."

NEW I don't know why, but after posting this, I try to use Wi-Fi on my PC again and again to correct several senteces, but I can't use somehow. So, I had to correct them on my smartphone, and that's why this page and linked pages don't appear separately, as I explained before. Also, the colors I'd added to some words on PC disappeared somehow after I used smartphone to change senteces. I appologize.

Anyway, the heart-shaped flower ... do you remember its name and its language of flower?

Yep, it's "Anthurium."

Anthurium comes in several colors, and this is the first time I got a pink one ... I think that is pink, not red. I prefer red ones, though. Red is not my favorite color, but a red Anthurium looks exactly like a heart, you know.ハート

There seems to be a purple one as well though I've never seen. I wanna see it someday.

Anthurium has words such as "hospitaliry," "happiness," and so on. Well, I hope Oginon, or Ogino-san, and his nephew are doing well.

From another blog post "Hospitality."

Ohana, staff members of Eggs 'n Things, call him Shinobu-san. He had been the president of Eggs 'n Things Japan since 2010, when the 1st Japanese location opened in Harajuku, Tokyo, and he resigned at the end of February this year. I wrote about him and his nephew in "Appreciation" after I had matcha pancakes to express appreciation.

It says, "We greatly appreciate Oginon's warm hospitality, help & support since Tully'sコーヒー"

Well, my hon and Ogionon have known each other for many years. They were working at Tully's Coffee in Singapore as well as Japan.

You know, as I mentioned before, Anthurium is also called "Heart of Hawaii." They say the flower was not originally born in Hawaii, but it sure is like a Hawaiian flower, huh? I like Plumerias and Hibiscus, too.

Eggs 'n Things was born in Hawaii, you know.

With sunflowers. I usually get flowers at Aoyama Flower Market. They sell various sunflowers in summers, and these two are different sunflowers. One of two colors is like Eggs 'n Things' yellow. Don't you think so?

The flowers suit the glass of Eggs 'n Things, right? It's one of their items, but it's not a vase, actually. To tell you the truth, the good is only available in Japan. Hawaii's mugs and other items are so cute and colorful while Japan's are stylish and simple.

I don't know why, but Eggs 'n Things Japan tends to use yellow, white and navy for their goods. I understand yellow and white stand for eggs, which they cook and serve every day, but why navy?

I like navy, so I don't mind. To be honest, I use their large tote bag and eco bag quite often. The tote bag has a smaller one, too, and they both have navy and white colors like these. I hope they add new items ...

This is a small tote bag.

Here it is. This is my favorite. Actually, I have two. Just check my past posts, and you'll see the large tote bag many times. Oh, that teddy bear is one of the goods of Tully's Coffee. I call him or her "teddy".

Well, I took the right picture at the begining of this year while the left one is last year's.

日本 Now all the locations of Eggs 'n Things in Japan are offering their "Hot Kona Coffee" using this white and yellow mug, which is also one of their items. So, that means, we can purchase it.

I've heard more customers are getting this good after meals, of couse a new one of the same item, thanks to the change.

Oh, there's a turquoise blue one, too. It stands for the color of the sea, isn't it? I think so.

Eggs 'n Things Hawaii just opened a new location; News pages from the official website of Eggs 'n Things Hawaii. The pages are written in Japanese as well.ホットケーキ It's great.

By the way, did you know that the owner of Eggs 'n Things Hawaii is a Japanese woman? Her name is Yuka-san.

I found Japanese interviews with her;

The first interview was posted this year and the second one was a few years ago. Both are written in Japanese. If you can read Japanese, I highly recommend you should check them out. Both are really good.

This year, a Japanese drama about Eggs 'n Things, "しろときいろ," or "Shiro to Kiiro,"was released on Amazon Prime Video. According to the interview, it was going to be released on Amazon USA Prime Video, too. It seems they made it. Great job. "Shiro" means white in Japanese and "Kiiro" is yellow. The title implies Eggs 'n Things themselves or eggs, I guess. I'm not an Amazon prime member, actually. I use Amazon to get various stuff, though. It's so useful.

They say it's fiction, but the story's partly based on her life and herself.

Well, I have a good intuition, as some of you do know. I saw only a few scenes of the drama on the Internet, including its trailer and 15 episode, I guess. And I just thought the guy with glasses was modeled after ... I hope not, though. It's different from what he wrote in his book ... I mean, what happened when the 1st location opened in Japan. He sometimes changes real stories like that. I know, yeah, he does, haha.

You know, the business world seems so cruel and severe, and owning a restaurant or managing a company must be tough, but if my special someone have done something wrong or bad, I feel sorry for her, and I have to tell him he should have been more sensitive to other people's feelings.

That being said, it's fiction, and I've just watched only a few parts, so don't take my words seriously, haha. Well, I find Amazon Prime Video is available for 30 days for free, so I think I'll watch all the episodes during the period, haha.

Yuka-san wears a yellow outfit in the first interview, and that's because it's the color of Eggs 'n Things. She's not only beautiful but cool. It says 10 years will have passed since she became the 2nd owner of Eggs 'n Things Hawaii. Congratulations.

Thank You.

And I love you, my darling.

You know what?

One of my dreams is to visit Eggs 'n Things Hawaii's retail shop and get as many souvenirs as possible. Of course I wanna have their original strawberry pancakes with generous whipped cream there, too. Though only Saratoga location, their flagship restaurant, has the retail shop, they seem to have been offering location-limited menus. How wonderful.

日本 I still think Eggs 'n Things in Japan should start store-limited menus again. There are 19 locations in Japan so far, and almost all the locations had been offering their own exclusive items till most of them had to stop at the end of February this year. Their store-limited menus started in April last year, and some of them were just renewed in January this year.

Anyway, I'd love to try Hawaii's "Make a Wish" pancakes. Well, they say, if we donate $1, we can get star and moon sprinkles and put them to any item. So, I can have their strawberry pancakes covered with lots of stars and moons. Its appearance must be really to my taste. You know, I like these kinds of things .. stars and the moon. Above all, according to this page, the donations are used to help children's dreams come true. They were doing "Make a Wish" campaign last year, too. I think it's great.

They've just opened the new location, as I mentioned earlier, and she says in the first interview it's the 5th one in the U.S., and she promised she was going to open at least 6 locations there.

Well, I promise I'm going to come by all locations of Eggs 'n Things in America in my 30s. I'd like to go to new stores in Singapore and Taiwan as well.

When I started writing this blog post, I thought its title would be "Heart of Hawaii" from the flower "Anthurium," but later I thought it definitely should be "Be Generous!" instead. Still, I think "Heart of Hawaii" is also good, so I think I'll use it for another one sometime.

Yes, "Be Generous!"
