むらさき音符"The Greatest Showman" was released on February 16 in Japan.ブルー音符むらさき音符

Did you know that all location of Eggs 'n Things in Japan have each original menu? I hope some of you have already tried them.ホットケーキ

I had store-limited pancakes at all the 9 locations in Kanto region last year (except Shonan's Citrus ones), and I introduced them in these blog posts; "We can't make pancakes without breaking eggsⅠ" and "We can't make pancakes without breaking eggsⅡ"

音符 The pancakes in the photo with "♪The Greatest Showman♪ Hugh Jackman ☆ Feb. 16 in Japan" are Ginza-limited "Creme Brulee Pancakes". Well, I've been listening to the soundtrack of "The Greatest Showman" that I got last week. To be honest, I'm listening to it right now writing this, haha.アメリカ

音譜 This one is an official video. But it's not for Japan, so it doesn't have Japanese translation.

音譜 Here it is. Though this is not the same one, it's about music of "The Greatest Showman" with Japanese subtitles.

Eggs 'n Things Ginza's "Creme Brulee Pancakes" started last month and will last ... well, I'm not sure, actually. Eggs Ginza also serves "Hawaian Special Dish" as one of their original items.

And you know what? While I stayed in Kyoto & Osaka this month, I visited 4 of 6 locations of Eggs 'n Things located in Kansai region in Japan. So, today, I'll write about Kyoto's Original Menu. As always, I'll check my spelling or grammer mistakes later. I'll correct 'em ASAP.

Well, some other time, I'll write about the 3 locations in Osaka that I stopped by: Umeda-chayamachi, Lalaport (Osaka) and Shinsaibashi. Well, of course I went to other eateries, too, so I'll mention them too with photos. That eatery's Udon was really good ... It's located in Osaka.

First, as I added photos on Valentine's Day,チョコ Eggs 'n Things Kyoto's "Kaoru, Uji Matcha Pancakes." I'll show you the other photos of them though these are not so bright pictures compared with the previous ones.

Yum.ナイフとフォーク

Aloha. This is so-called "Shaka sign" though I call it Aloha pose, haha.

As I wrote before, Eggs Kyoto's "Kaoru, Uji Matcha Pancakes" are the most popular store-limited pancakes. Yeah, they were really good.

Their matcha pancakes are not too sweet but a little bitter while their generous whipped cream are sweet as usual ... Well, guess what? Kyoto's orginal pancakes have whipped cream made from Auzki, Red Beans, so its color is different from that of Eggs 'n Things' usual white whipped cream. On top pf that, "Kaoru, Uji Matcha Pancakes" are served with matcha ice cream and shiratama, or sticky rice cake balls in English.

The store manager told me before that "Kaoru, Uji Matcha Pancakes" look like pancakes covered with snow and that they think "Kaoru, Uji Matcha Pancakes" are perfect especially for winter.雪 That makes sense.雪の結晶

Well, to tell you the truth, I came by Eggs 'n Things Kyoto three times while staying in Kyoto.

Strictly speaking, the location's name is Kyoto Shijo, and Eggs 'n Things Kyotoshijo has "Kujo Negi & Beef Gristle Eggs Benedict" as well as "Kaoru, Uji Matcha Pancakes" on their original menu.ナイフとフォーク

Both are great, but I had  "Kujo Negi & Beef Gristle Eggs Benedict" twice while I had "Kaoru, Uji Matcha Pancakes" only once. You should try both if possible.

Well, I stayed at Kyoto Brighton Hotel this time, too. Their website has not only Japanese version but English one. Japanese ver. has more beautiful photos, I think.

My darling knows I had a great time there and was really happy that I could try Nespresso. Though I didn't expected that at all, one of my dreams came true. To tell the truth, I'd wanted to try Nespresso since I saw its TV commercials many years ago. First, I tried my favorite color's one, I mean the purple one, and then the green one, my hon's favorite color.コーヒー

I'd say Nespresso's coffee beverages were a little too strong for me, but they tasted good. Also, Nespresso's colorful coffee capsules and its machine are cool and beautiful.

So after I came back to the Kanto region, I thought I'll get some, but I found the machine's a little bit more expensive than I'd expected, haha. Well, I wanna get them someday. I'll get green coffee capsules for my honey and purple ones for myself. 宝石緑 宝石紫

Well, while I stayed at Kyoto Brighton Hotel, I read the japan times every morining. I usually check it online, but I read the real newspaper of the Japan Times while staying there, you know what I mean.

One of the seasonal beverages, "Whipped Cream Mocha" This one is not a store-limited or something, so it's available at all locations of Eggs 'n Things in Japan, I think.

Well, to tell you the truth, at Eggs 'n Things Kyoto Shijo, some female Ohana and I took photos togther. I wanna show you the photos, but I told them I'd only show my darling the photos (though I didn't use that word, haha, you know. I'm sometimes shy, though some might not believe it) and that I won't upload their photos on the internet or something. So, I have to keep my word. But they were really good. Many female Ohana of Eggs 'n Things Kyoto Shijo are always smiling. Their smile made me smile and happy. They are so cute. I'd like to mention their names, but I didn't ask them if it was okay, so I won't.

I remember one female Ohana and male Ohana spoke to me (in Japanese) and they told me they go to the same university in Kyoto and that they major in English literature. They understand and speak English.

The next day, a female Ohana who has been working there since Eggs 'n Things Kyoto opened said the male Ohana I talked with the previous day had studied abroad and had stayed in Canada. カナダ She also said another Ohana has been working since its opening will quit because she got an ideal job for which she uses English.

You know, Kyoto is one of the Japanese cities and is very famous and popular in the world as well. A great number of tourists from other countries are visiting Kyoto, and I'm sure they're welcoming these people with their English skills.

手紙 To Ohana of Kyoto Shijo; Hi, you two. Are you checking this English blog post? I hope so. I know both of you are going to leave Eggs Kyoto Shijo when you graduate from the university, but I hope you'll learn a lot while you are working at Eggs 'n Things. I've told my honey that I'm writing about Egg 'n Things Kyoto Shijo in English, of course, and as you all know he speaks English very fluently, but he's busy and I don't think he has enough time to translate my English into Japanese, so I hope you two translate this blog post and say hello to the other staff members. I promise I'll visit Eggs Kyoto Shijo again before you both graduate from the university. Good luck to you all.星

You know, Eggs 'n Things was born in Hawaii, the United States. アメリカ Eggs 'n Things in Japan is also international and has a lot of staff members from various countries. Kyoto Shijo location is no exception. On the third day of the trip, I had a breakfast at Eggs 'n Things Kyoto, and I met an Ohana who's half Filipino half Japanese and anther Ohana half Singaporean and half Japanese.

宝石赤 宝石白 Well, did you know Eggs 'n Things opened in Singapore, too? ... Gee, I want an emoji for Singapore's Nation Flag, you know. Kyoto Shijo's female Ohana told me the Ohana that's leaving Eggs 'n Things Kyoto Shijo went to the Eggs 'n Things restaurant in Singapore. Though Eggs 'n Things Singapore doesn't seem to have its official website, they have official Instagram and facebook accounts. Though I don't have an account of Instagram, I can check the photos of Eggs 'n Things Singapore. They've added photos and one of them shows a beverage which exactly looks like "Flat White" Tully's Coffee is offering right now as their seasonal beverage. Well, it's so-called, latte art, right?

This is the one. "Flat White" of Tully's Coffee.

I've already had "Flat White" & "Milky Flat White" many times, both of which are seasonal beverages of Tully's Coffee in Japan. I had them not only in Tokyo but in Kyoto and Osaka, but I had this one at Tully's Coffee Akasaka. I usually read the newspaper of the Japan News when I had a cup of coffee there. I do enjoy reading real newspapers as well as checking news online, you know.

By the way, I finally started my new Japanese blog. The title is; "Make A New Start!" NEW

You know, I told you last year in this English blog post that I'd tell you when I really start a new Japanese blog. Well, if you read Japanese or are interested in what I write in Japanese, just check it out. Hope you'll like it.グッド!

I'll update the Japanese blog when I want to. It won't always be the same things that I've already written here in this English blog, so I hope many of you can enjoy both. If you are learning Japanese now and wanna learn it through my Japanese blog, I don't think mine is a good one. So I think I'll sometimes write something useful for my English blog, not for the Japanese blog so those who learning Japanese can learn Japanese, Japanese culture, and so on. 日本

Well, the founder of Tully's Coffee (my honグリーンハート) says; "No Fun, No Gain."コーヒー

My honey should keep in mind that I'm always thinking of you and I'll always love you.キスマーク
