Okay, so...this is the blog post Part 2 about the original menus of Eggs 'n Things.

I'd love to visit all the locations of Eggs 'n Things in Japan in my thirties. Actually, I wanna go to Eggs 'n Things Sendai location in particular, because my sweetheart's mother, who passed away when he was 29 years old or so, was born and brought up in Matsushima, Sendai in Miyagi prefecture (I guess so). I went to Matsushima and Sendai when I was a teenager. But I've never been to Eggs Sendai. It opened in December last year.
I wanna join Sendai Tanabata Festival too, someday.
Well, this summer, Tully's Coffeee is doing "Gradation of Tohoku", and each prefecture in Tohoku region is serving its own beverage from July 14 to August 20, such as Miyagi's "Marble Mango Tango Swirkle", Yamagata's "Sweet Cafe Mocha Swirkle", Fukushima's "Triple Nuts Swirkle" and so on. Tohoku region has 6 prefectures, so there are 6 swirkles which are available only in Tohoku region during this summer.
Plus, they are offering"Tohoku Apple Waffle Plate", "Tohoku La France & Apple Sandwich" and "Tohoku-limited T's Parfait" for a limited time, until August 20.
Also, Tohoku-limited goods are available, too, including "Tully's Minni Teddy (6 kinds of fruits) " and "Tohoku-limited Tumbler". I want both.
I wish I could take a trip to Tohoku.
It seems that Eggs 'n Things calls their staff members "Ohana", while the staff members of Tully's Coffee are "Fellows". "Ohana" is a Hawaiian word which means "family".
Oh, I learned a Hawaiian word "Ku'uipo" means "My sweetheart" in English, while I was watching the DVD of "おとなの基礎英語 (Otona No Kiso Eigo) ", or "Basic English for Adult Learners". So sweet.
"Otona No Kiso Eigo Season 3" has drams in Hawaii, and its newest book with DVD is "Season 5 Australia". I have that one, too. I think I'll check out the other seasons. You know what? The characters in the drama do the Aloha pose, which I usually do at Eggs 'n Things restaurants when I ask the staff members (Ohana) to take photos of me. I just call it "Aloha pose", and I didn't know the official name of it. One of the NHK English radio programs, "ラジオ英会話 (Radio Eikaiwa)", or "Radio English Conversation", taught me this month that this hand sign is called "Shaka", and it means "Hang Loose".
Sounds great.
I think NHK program "Songs For Everyone" sometimes plays very nice Japanese songs.
I listen to this program on the radio, but you can watch it on TV, too. I actually don't listen to Japanese songs very often, but I sometimes find great songs while listening to the radio.
And I find NHK World has a program "やさしい日本語", or "Easy Japanese", for those who learn Japanese. It says, "You can download audio and texts for the lessons free of charge. The lessons are offered in 17 languages. Please select the language of your choice, and start learning!" Wow, 17 languages. It's nice.
If you think it's too easy for you, how about reading text books of the NHK English programs I mentioned eariler? Of course, they are written in English for English learners like me, but most of them have Japanese translations as well. I think they are helpful for learning Japanese, too! You can buy them on the Internet, or at many bookstores if you're living in Japan.
Eggs 'n Things Tachikawa's "Tokyo Sayama Tea Pancakes".
The light green ones.
"Sayama Tea" is one of the three famous green tea brands in Japan. We call them "日本三大茶"（Nihon Sandai Cha）, and the other two are "Shizuoka Tea (静岡茶)" and "Uji Tea (宇治茶)". 
"Sayama Tea" is grown in Saitama prefecture and Tokyo, and "Tokyo Sayama Tea" is Sayama Tea which is produced only in Tokyo. There's a tea-picking song, "色は静岡、香りは宇治よ、味は狭山でとどめさす". In English, it says "The color of Shizuoka, the fragrance of Uji, and the taste of Sayama."
Kawasaki's "Pear & Strawberry Honey Pancakes".
Kawasaki is located in Kanagawa prefecture like Yokohama and Shonan.
You know, I like doing what they call "the Shaka Sign", but I also like using photo props. Well, Some locations have rainbow photo props with their location's name, and others have big speech bubble photo props, and both kinds have each location's name in English and the restaurant's name "Eggs 'n Things" as well.
Also, there are other kinds of photo props including Aloha Shirt ones and Strawberry Whipped Cream Pancakes ones. "Pancakes with Strawberry Whipped Cream and Macadamia Nuts" are the famous symbol of Eggs 'n Things.
How should I put it? I mean, I don't know how to say it in English. Well, sometimes, Eggs' generous whipped cream falls down like this (photo above) while I take many pictures of pancakes, haha.
Chiba's "Strawberry & Pear Yogurt Pancakes".
Maybe some people notice that both the previous ones and these ones have strawberries and pears. Chiba prefecture is especially famous foｒ its pears, and Chiba has even a popular pear character, "Funassyi", though I don't think Funassyi's dance is cool.
I think Chiba's exclusive "Strawberry & Pear Yogurt Pancakes" use European pears, because their Japanese name on the original menu includes "洋ナシ (Yo Nashi)", which means "European Pears". On the other hand, Kawasaki's name has "梨 (Nashi)", or "Pears", not "European Pears". So I guess Kawasaki's are served with Japanese pears. I'm not sure though... Hmm...
They smelled very good. If you love yogurt, I think you'll love them.

Hope you'll find your favorite exclusive pancakes. Well, I want to try Shonan's "Citrus Pancakes" and Yokohama's "Yokohama Burger".
Oh, each original menu has 2 items including 1 pancake. If you don't have a sweet tooth, you just can't eat a lot, or you don't like pancakes in the first place, I think you can check out the other item on an original menu. You know, Eggs 'n Things does serve generous portions, and I really love it, but I understand not all people eat a lot.
Well, the titles of PartⅠ & Ⅱ "We can't make pancakes without breaking eggs" are from a famous saying "We can't make an omelet without breaking eggs". I know many people make pancakes without using eggs, but I write about pancakes in these blog posts, so I changed the word "an omelet" to "pancakes". 
Oh, Eggs 'n Things serves omelets, too.
In Japan, we have proverbs which have the same meaning of it, such as "虎穴に入らずんば虎子を得ず (Koketsu ni irazunba Koji wo ezu)", "蒔かぬ種は生えぬ (Makanu tane wa haenu)" etc... The first one has its origin in China.
The kanji character "虎" means a tiger or tigers.
The second one "蒔かぬ種は生えぬ", and "苦は楽の種 (Ku wa raku no tane)" can be an English proverb "No pain, no gain". And, Ku'uipo (my sweetheart
) created a new saying. It goes like this: "No fun, no gain."
Well, no him, no Eggs 'n Things in Japan. 
And, no him, no me. 
Ku'u Aloha no na Kau a Kau.
