For me, winter season has never been a good time to shed weight. Every year, starting with Christmas and New Year I have been more prone to pile up rather than to burn calories. Even so, I can hardly complain. It’s a great time to loosen your belt and tuck into your favourite food. I started early, and Italian felt like a good place to begin. Merry Christmas! 😊

like a cheap cup of black coffee and a nice gifted chocolate.

But on the topic of coffee, I need to rant a little. Just how many more times do shops intend to raise the price of their coffee!!?

Cafe Veloce, I'm looking at you. 330 yen for a regular black coffee? It was 190yen a few years ago. Lawson too. 130 yen just for hot coffee-flavoured water.

As a result, I've had to resort to extreme measures and find cheaper alternatives that offer better value for money. Such as instant coffee, ... bleh. I'm going to have to start bringing coffee from home and sit on a street corner by myself...

Rant over. Thank you for reading. (Don't get me started on the shrinking niku-man in the convenience stores.)

It’s winter again. You would expect the temperatures to hit those near zero levels and bring bone chilling days and nights. Yet, as we entered December we’ve felt like autumn hasn’t gone anywhere. The warm rays of sunshine and the vivid colours of flowers and leaves are still with us, encouraging us to appreciate the beauty of the season a little longer.

It seems we're big fans of Odaiba here at e.Front. I think this is the third or fourth time we're posting about it on our blog.

Well, on a whim, I decided to head out to one of my favourite restaurants last weekend, and I was treated to not only one of the best sunsets I've seen in Tokyo whilst driving along the bay shore route to Odaiba, but a great view of a firework show from the restaurant!

To top it off, Rainbow Bridge was actually rainbow coloured!

And for some reason the Fuji TV building was lit up red ...

Anybody know why it was red?

Someday, I'll try and get the dashcam footage from my car and upload pictures of the sunset. You could even see Mt. Fuji!
