16）ですから、私（聖霊が内に宿る者）たちは今後、人間的な標準で人を知ろうとはしません。かつて（聖霊が内に宿る前）は人間的な標準でキリストを知っていたとしても、（聖霊が内に宿る）今はもうそのような知り方はしません。
Therefore we (those in whom the Holy Spirit dwells within) from now no one regard according to the flesh. Though (before the indwelling of the Holy Spirit) even we have regarded according to flesh Christ, yet now (that the Holy Spirit dwells within) no longer we regard Him thus.
17）だれでもキリストのうちにあるなら、その人は新しく造られた者です。古いものは過ぎ去って、見よ、すべてが新しくなりました。
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away; behold, has come into being the new.
