16）主は、号令と、御使いのかしらの声と、神のラッパの響きのうちに、ご自身天から下って来られます。それからキリストにある死者が、まず初めによみがえり、
Because Himself the Lord with a loud command, with the voice of an archangels, and with the trumpet of God, will descend from heaven, and the dead in Christ will rise first.
17）次に、生き残っている私たちが、たちまち彼らといっしょに雲の中に一挙に引き挙げられ、空中で主と会うのです。このようにして、私たちは、いつまでも主とともにいることになります。
Then we the living remaining, together with them, will be caught away in the clouds for the meeting of the Lord in the air; and so always with the Lord we will be.
ヨエル書２章/Joel 2 (HNV)
10）その面前で地は震い、天は揺れる。太陽も月も暗くなり、星もその光を失う。
The eretz quakes before them. The heavens tremble. The sun and the moon are darkened, And the stars withdraw their shining.
11）主は、ご自身の軍勢の先頭に立って声をあげられる。その隊の数は非常に多く、主の命令を行う者は力強い。主の日は偉大で、非常に恐ろしい。だれがこの日に耐えられよう。
The LORD thunders his voice before his army; For his forces are very great; For he is strong who obeys his command; For the day of the LORD is great and very awesome, And who can endure it?
エレミヤ書25章/Jeremiah 25
30）あなたは彼らにこのすべてのことばを預言して、言え。『主は高いところから叫び、その聖なる御住まいから声をあげられる。その牧場に向かって大声で叫び、酒ぶねを踏む者のように、地の全住民に向かって叫び声を上げられる。
Therefore prophesy you against them all these words, and tell them, the LORD will roar from on high, and utter his voice from his holy habitation; he will mightily roar against his fold; he will give a shout, as those who tread the grapes, against all the inhabitants of the eretz.
31）その騒ぎは地の果てまでも響き渡る。主が諸国の民と戦い、すべての者をさばき、悪者どもを剣に渡されるからだ。―主の御告げ。―
A noise shall come even to the end of the eretz, for the LORD has a controversy with the nations; he will enter into judgment with all flesh: as for the wicked, he will give them to the sword, says the LORD.
32）万軍の主は仰せられる。見よ。わざわいが国から国へと移り行き、大暴風が地の果てから起こる。
Thus says the LORD of hosts, Behold, evil shall go forth from nation to nation, and a great tempest shall be raised up from the uttermost parts of the eretz.
33）その日、主に殺される者が地の果てから地の果てまでに及び、彼らはいたみ悲しまれることなく、地面の肥やしとなる。』」
The slain of the LORD shall be at that day from one end of the eretz even the other end of the eretz: they shall not be lamented, neither gathered, nor buried; they shall be dung on the surface of the ground.
34）牧者たちよ。泣きわめけ。群れのあるじたちよ。灰の中にころげまわれ。あなたがたはほふられ、あなたがたが散らされる日が来たからだ。あなたがたは美しい雄羊のように倒れる。
Wail, you shepherds, and cry; and wallow in ashes, you principal of the flock; for the days of your slaughter and of your dispersions are fully come, and you shall like a goodly vessel.
35）逃げ場は牧者たちから、のがれ場は群れのあるじから消えうせる。
The shepherds shall have no way to flee, nor the principal of the flock to escape.
36）聞け。牧者たちの叫び、群れのあるじたちの泣き声を。主が彼らの牧場を荒らしておられるからだ。
A voice of the cry of the shepherds, and the wailing of the principal of the flock! for the LORD lays waste their pasture.
37）平和な牧場も、主の燃える怒りによって、彼らの国が荒れすたれる。
The peaceable folds are brought to silence because of the fierce anger of the LORD.
38）主は、若獅子のように、仮庵を捨てた。主の燃える怒りによって、彼らの国が荒れ果てるからだ。
He has left his covert, as the lion; for their land is become an astonishment because of the fierceness of the oppressing sword, and because of his fierce anger.
マタイ24章/Matthew 24
27）人の子の来るのは、いなずまが東から来て、西にひらめくように、ちょうどそのように来るのです。
Just for the lightning comes forth from the east and shines as far as the west, so will be coming of the Son of Man.
28）死体のある所には、はげたかが集まります。
For wherever if may be the carcass, there will gathered the vultures.
29）だが、これらの日の（産みの苦しみの）苦難に続いてすぐに、太陽は暗くなり、月は光を放たず、星は天から落ち、天の万象は揺り動かされます。
Immediately then after the tribulation the days of those (birth pains): Sun will be darkened, and the moon not will give the light of it, and the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.
30）そのとき、人の子のしるしが天に現われます。すると、地上のあらゆる種族は、悲しみながら、人の子が大能と輝かしい栄光を帯びて天の雲に乗って来るのを見るのです。
And then will appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven, and then will moun all the tribes of the earth, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and glory great.
31）人の子は大きなラッパの響きとともに、御使いたちを遣わします。すると御使いたちは、天の果てから果てまで、四方からその選びの民を集めます。
And He will send the angels of Him with a trumpet call great, and they will gather together the elect of Him, from the four winds, from the ends of the heavens to the ends of them.
イザヤ書27章
12）その日、主はユーフラテスからエジプト（ナイル）川まで[グレーターイスラエル]の穀物の穂を打ち落とされる。イスラエルの子らよ。あなたがたは、ひとり、ひとり拾い上げられる。
It shall happen in that day, that the LORD will beat off his fruit from the flood of the River (Euphrates) to the brook of Mitzrayim (Nile) [Greater Israel]; and you shall be gathered one by one, you children of Yisra'el.
13）その日、大きな角笛が鳴り渡り、アッシリヤの地に失われた者や、エジプトの地に散らされていた者たちが来て、エルサレムの聖なる山で、主を礼拝する。
It shall happen in that day, that a great shofar shall be blown; and they shall worship the LORD in the holy mountain at Yerushalayim.
