上のビデオは今現在リバイバルで話題のアズベリーを訪れた時に、二人の兄弟ジョンとアーロンがそこで体験した事を語っているものです。
その内容をここに簡単に書くと、リバイバルの会場に行ったはいいものの、まず、アーロン兄弟がその時に着用していたティーシャツに書かれていた言葉
表側に「同
愛は罪である。ローマ１章」、裏側には「また、ソドムとゴモラおよび周囲の町々も彼らと同じように、好色にふけり、不自然な肉欲を追い求めたので、永遠の火の刑罰を受けて、みせしめにされています。ユダ１章７節」
が原因のようで警察官から退出するよう言われたそうです。
リバイバルが起きている場所で、御言葉が書かれているティーシャツを着ている同じ信仰を持つ者が、なぜ、会場から出されなくてはならないのか考えるべきです。
会場では多くの賛美の歌が歌われ、証や癒し、人々が神に泣き叫んでいるのは良い事だと思われました。
しかし、一点だけ1970年に起きたリバイバルと比べて違う点があったようで、それは、御言葉の教えと諭しがなされていなかったという事のようです。
そういったことから、このリバイバルには、どうも大切な神の御言葉の要素が失われていたように思われます。
エレミヤ書12章/Jeremiah 12 (ESV)
７）私は、私の家を捨て、私の相続地を見放し、私の心の愛するものを、敵の手中に渡した。
I have forsaken my house; I have abandoned my heritage; I have given the beloved of my soul into the hands of her enemies.
８）私の相続地は、私にとって、林の中の獅子のようだ。これはわたしに向かって、うなり声を上げる。それで、わたしはこの地を憎む。
My heritage has become to me like a lion in the forest; she has lifted up her voice against me; therefore I hate her.
９）わたしの相続地は、わたしにとって、まだらの猛禽なのか。猛禽がそれを取り巻いているではないか。さあ、すべての野の獣を集めよ。連れて来て、食べさせよ。
Is my heritage to me like a hyena;s lair? Are the birds of prey against her all around? Go, assemble all the wild beasts; bring them to doevour.
10）多くの牧者が、わたしのぶどう畑を荒らし、私の地所を踏みつけ、わたしの慕う地所を、恐怖の荒野にした。
Many shepherds have destroyed my vineyard; they have trampled down my portion; they have made my pleasant portion a desolate wilderness.
11）それは恐怖と化し、荒れ果てて、わたしに向かって嘆いている。全地は荒らされてしまった。だれも心に留める者がいないのだ。
They have made it a desolation; desolate, it mourns to me. The whole land is made desolate, but no man lays it to heart.
12）荒野にあるすべての裸の丘の上に、荒らす者が来た。主の剣が、地の果てから地の果てに至るまで食い尽くすので、すべての者には平安がない。
Upon all the bare heights in the desert destroyers have come, for the sword of the LORD devours from one end of the land to the other; no flesh has peace.
13）小麦を蒔いても、いばらを刈り取り、労苦してもむだになる。あなたがたは、自分たちの収穫で恥を見よう。主の燃える怒りによって。
They have sown wheat and have reaped thorns; they have tired themselves out but profit nothing. They shall be ashamed their harvests because of the fierce anger of the LORD.
イザヤ書56章
９）野のすべての獣、林の中のすべての獣よ。食べに来い。
All you beasts of the field, come to devour all you beasts in the forest.
10）見張り人はみな、盲人で、知ることがない。彼らはみな、おしの人で、ほえることもできない。夢を見て、横になり、眠りをむさぼっている。
His watcman are blind; they are all without knowledge; they are all silent dogs; they cannot bark, dreaming, lying down, loving to slumber.
11）この貪欲な犬どもは、足ることを知らない。彼らは、悟ることも知らない牧者で、みな、自分かってな道に向かい、ひとり残らず自分の利得に向かって行く。
The dogs have a mighty appetite; they never have enough. But they are shepherds who have no understanding; they have all turned to their own way, each to his own gain, one and all.
12）「やって来い。ぶどう酒を持って来るから、強い酒を浴びるほど飲もう。あすもきょうと同じだろう。もっと、すばらしいかもしれない。」
"Come," they say, "let me get wine; let us fill ourselves with strong drink; and tomorrow will be like this day, great beyond measure."
申命記28章/Deuteronomy 28
38）畑に多くの種を持って出ても、あなたは少ししか収穫できない。いなごが食い尽くすからである。
You shall carry much seed into the field and shall gather in little, for the locust shall consume it.
39）ぶどう畑を作り、耕しても、あなたはそのぶどう酒をのむことも、集めることもできない。虫がそれを食べるからである。
You shall plant vineyards and dress them, but you shall neither drink of the wine nor gathers, for the worm shall eat them.
40）あなたの領土の至る所にオリーブの木があっても、あなたは身に油を塗ることができない。オリーブの実が落ちてしまうからである。
You shall have nlive trees throughout all your territory, but you shall not anoint yourself with the oil, for your olives shall drop off.
ハガイ書１章６節/Haggai 1:6
あなたがたは、多くの種を蒔いたが少ししか取り入れず、食べたが飽き足らず、飲んだが酔えず、着物を着たが暖まらない。かせぐ者がかせいでも、穴のあいた袋に入れるだけだ。
You have sown much, and harvested little. You eat, but you never have enough; you drink, but younever have your fill. You clothe yourselves, but no one is warm. And he who earns wages doe so to put them into a bag with holes.
私には、アズベリーで起きているのが本当に神様から来ているリバイバルかどうかは分かりません。
I don't know if what is happening in Asbury is really a revival that is coming from God.
ただ言える事は、聖霊様が、神様の真理を一人ひとりの心の内に明らかにされることを祈るばかりです。
All I can say is that I only pray that the Holy Spirit will reveal God's truth in the heart of each person.
