キリストの救いは、私たちが生きている間にしか得られないもので、死んでしまってからでは遅すぎるのです。
Christ's salvation is only available to us while we are alive, and once we are dead it is too late.
へブル９章 Hebrews 9 (NKJV)
27）そして、人間には、一度死ぬことと死後にさばきを受けることが定まっているように、
And it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment,
28）キリストも、多くの人の罪を負うために一度、ご自身をささげられましたが、二度目は、罪を負うためではなく、彼を待ち望んでいる人々の救いのために来られるのです。
So Chirist was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation.
第二コリント５章10節 2 Corinthians 5:10
なぜなら、私たちはみな、キリストのさばきの座に現れて、善であれ悪であれ、各自その（生きている間の）肉体にあってした行為に応じて報いを受けることになるからです。
For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.
マタイ16章27節 Matthew 16:27
人の子は父の栄光を帯びて、御使いたちとともに、やがて来ようとしているのです。その時には、（キリストにある者は）おのおのその行ないに応じて報いをします。
For the Son of Man will come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and then He will reward each according to (whose belong to Christ) his works.
ローマ２章16節 Romans 2:16
私の福音によれば、神のさばきは、神がキリスト・イエスによって人々の隠れたことをさばかれる日に、行なわれるのです。
In the day when God will judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ, according to my gospel.
使徒１章 Acts 1
10）イエスが上って行かれるとき、弟子たちは天を見つめていた。すると、見よ、白い衣を着た人がふたり、彼らのそばに立っていた。
And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as He went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel,
11）そして、こう言った。「ガリラヤの人たち。なぜ天を見上げて立っているのですか。あなたがたを離れて天に上げられたこのイエスは、天に上って行かれるのをあなたがたが見たときと同じ有様で、またおいでになります。」
Who also said, "Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven."
