ホセア書４章
１）イスラエル人よ。主のことばを聞け。主はこの地に住む者と言い争われる。この地には真実がなく、誠実がなく、神を知ることもないからだ。

６）わたしの民は（神を知る）知識がないのでほろぼされる。あなたが（神を知る）知識を退けたので、わたしはあなたを退けて、わたしの祭司としない。あなたは神のおしえを忘れたので、わたしもまた、あなたの子らをわすれよう。

１）祭司たちよ。今、この命令があなたがたに下される。
２）もし、あなたがたが聞き入れず、もし、わたしの名に栄光を帰することを心に留めないなら、―万軍の主は仰せられる。―わたしは、あなたがたの中にのろいを送り、あなたがたへの祝福をのろいに変える。もう、それをのろいに変えている。あなたがたが、これを心に留めないからだ。

Hosea 4 (HNV)
1)Hear the word of the LORD, you children of Yisra'el; For the LORD has a charge against the inhabitants of the land: "Indeed there is no truth, No goodness, Nor knowledge of God in the land.

4)"Yet let no man bring a charge, neither let any man accuse; For your people are like those who bring charges against a Kohen.※１
5)You will stumble in the day, And the prophet will also stumble with you in the night; And I will destroy your mother(Israel that disobeys God).
6)My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge (of God). Because you have rejected knowledge (of God), I will also reject you, That you may be no Kohen to me. Because you have your God's law, I will also forget your children.

8)But you have turned aside out of the way. You have caused many to stumble in the law. You have corrupted the covenant of Levi, "says the LORD of Hosts.
9)Therefore I have also made you contemptible and base before all the people, according to the way you have not kept my ways, but have had respect for persons in the law.
7)As they were multiplied, so they sinned against me. I will change their glory into shame.
8)They feed on the sin of my people, And set their heart on their iniquity.
9)It will be, like people, like Kohen※2; And I will punish them for their ways, And will repay them for their deeds.
10)They will eat, and not have enough. They will play the prostitute, and will not increase; Because they have abandoned giving to the LORD.

30)A wonderful and horrible thing is happen in the land:
31)The prophesy falsely, and the Kohanim bear rule by their means; and my people love to have it so: and what will you do in the end of it?
11)Prostitution, wine, and new wine take away understanding.
12)My people consult with their wooded idol, And answer to a stick of wood. Indeed the spirit of prostitution has led them astray, And they have been unfaithful to their God.
13)They sacrifice on the tops of the mountains, And burn incense on the hills, under oaks and poplars and terebinths, Because its shade is good. Therefore your daughters play the prostitute, And your brides commit adultery.
14)I will not punish your daughters when the play the pprostitute, Nor your brides when they commit adultery, Because the men consort with prostitutes, And they sacrifice with the shrine prostitutes; And the people that does not understand will come to ruin.
15)Though you, Yisra'el, play the prostitute, Yet don't let Yehudah offend; And don't come to Gilgal, Neither go up to Beit-Aven, Nor swear, 'As the LORDlives.'
16)For Yisra'el has behaved extremely stubbornly, like a stubborn heifer. Then how will the LORD feed them like a lamb in a meadow.
17)Efrayim is joined to idols.(This is why the tribe of Ephraim is not included in the 144,000.)※3 Leave him alone!
18)Their drink has become sour. They play the prostitute continually. Her rulers dearly love their shameful way.
19)The wind has wrapped her up in its wings; And they shall be disappointed because of their sacrifices.

10)Now the eyes of Yisra'el were dim for age, so that he couldn't see. He brought them near to him; and he kissed them, and embraced them.
11)Yisra'el said to Yosef, "I didn't think I would see your face, and, behold, God has let me see your seed also."
12)Yosef brought them out from between his knees, and he bowed himself with his face to the eretz.
13)Yosef took them both, Efrayim in his right hand toward Yisra'el left hand, and Menashsheh in his left hand toward Yisra'el's right hand, and brought them near to him.
17)When Yosef saw that his father laid his right hand on the head of Efraym, it displeased him. He held up his father's hand, to remove it from Efrayim's head to Menashsheh's head.
18)Yosef said to his father, "Not so, my father; for this is the firstborn; put your right hand on his head."
19)His father refused, and said, "I know, my son, I know. He also will become a people, and he also will be great. However, his younger brother will be greater than he, and his seed will become a multitude of nations.
20)He blessed them that day, saying, "In you eill Yisra'el bless, saying, 'God make you as Efrayim and as Menashsheh"' He set Efrayim before Menashsheh.
