ダニエル書
８：15）私、ダニエルは、この幻を見ていて、その意味を悟りたいと願っていた。ちょうどそのとき、人間のように見える者が私の前に立った。
10：５）私が目を上げて見ると、そこに、ひとりの人がいて、亜麻布の衣を着、腰にはウファズの金の帯を締めていた。
６）そのからだは緑柱石のようであり、その顔はいなずまのようであり、その目は燃えるたいまつのようであった。
15）彼が私にこのようなことを語っている間、私はうつむいていて、何も言えなかった。
16）ちょうどそのとき、人の姿をとった者が、私のくちびるに触れた。それで、私は口を開いて話し出し、私に向かって立っていた者に言った。「わが主よ。この幻によって、私は苦痛に襲われ、力を失いました。
17）わが主のしもべが、どうしてわが主と話せましょう。私には、もはや、力もうせてしまい、息も残っていないのです。（
威厳に圧倒されて）
18）すると、人間のように見える者が、再び私に触れ、私を力づけて、
19）言った。「神に愛されている人よ。恐れるな。安心せよ。強くあれ。強くあれ。」彼が私にこう言ったとき、私は奮い立って言った。「わが主よ。お話しください。あなたは私を力づけてくださいましたから。」
20）そこで、彼は言った。「私が、なぜあなたのところに来たかを知っているか。今は、ペルシャの君と戦うために帰って行く。私が出かけると、見よ、ギリシャの君がやって来る。
21）しかし、真理の書に書かれていることを、あなたに知らせよう。あなたがたの君ミカエルのほかには、私とともに奮い立って、彼らに立ち向かう者はひとりもいない。
エゼキエル書１章
26）彼らの頭の上、大空のはるか上のほうには、サファイヤのような何か王座に似たものがあり、その王座に似たもののはるか上には、人間の姿に似たものがあった。
27）私が見ると、その腰と見える所から上のほうは、その中と回りとが青銅のように輝き、火のように見えた。その腰と見える所から下のほうに、私は火のようなものを見た。その方の回りには輝きがあった。
28）その方の回りにある輝きのさまは、雨の日の雲の間にある虹のようであり、それは主の栄光のように見えた。私はこれを見て、ひれ伏した。（威厳に満ち溢れている）そのとき、私は語る者の声を聞いた。
黙示録１章
13）それらの燭台の真中には、足までたれた衣を着て、胸に金の帯を締めた、人の子のような方が見えた。
14）その頭と髪の毛は、白い羊毛のように、また雪のように白く、その目は、燃える炎のようであった。
15）その足は、炉で精錬されて光り輝くしんちゅうのようであり、その声は大水のおとのようであった。
16）また、右手に七つの星を持ち、口からは鋭い両刃の剣が出ており、顔は強く照り輝く太陽のようであった。
17）それで私は、この方を見たとき、その足もとに倒れて死者のようになった。（威厳に満ち溢れていたため） しかし彼は右手を私の上に置いてこう言われた。「恐れるな。わたしは、最初であり、最後であり、
18）生きている者である。わたしは死んだが、見よ、いつまでも生きている。また、死とハデスとのかぎを持っている。

It happened, when I, even I Daniel, had seen the visio, that I sought to understand it; and, behold, there stood before me as the appearance of man.
10:5)I lifted up my eyes, and looked, and behold, a man clothed in linen, whose loins were girded with pure gold of Ufaz:
6)His body also like the bareket, and his face as the appearance of lightning, and his eyes as flaming torches, and his arms and his feet like burnished brass, and the voice of his words like the voice of a multitude.
15)And when he had spoken to me according to these words, I set my face toward the ground, and was mute.
16)Behold, one in the likeness of the sons of men touched my lips: then I opened my mouth, and spoke and said to him who stood before me, my lord, by reason of the vision my sorrows are turned on me, and I retain no strength.
17)For how can the servant of this my lord talk with my lord? for as for me, immediately there remained no strength in me, neither was there breath left in me.(Overwhelmed by his majesty)
18)Then there touched me again one who like the appearance of man , and he strengthened me.
19)He said, "Greatly beloved man, don't be afraid: shalom be to you, be strong, yes, be strong. "Let my lord speak; for you have strenghened me."
20)Then he said, "Do you know why I have come to you? Now I will return to fight with the prince of Paras. When I go forth, behold, the prince of Yavan shall come.
21)But I will tell you that which is inscribed in the writhing of truth: and there is none who holds with me against these, but Mikha'el your prince."
Ezekiel 1
26)Above the expanse that was over their heads was the likeness of throne, as the appearance of a sappir stone; and on the likeness of the throne was a likeness as the appearance of man on it above.
27)I saw as it were gloing metal, as the appearance of fire within it roundabout, from the appearnace of his loins and upward; and from the appearance of fire, and there was brightness round about him.
28)As the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud in the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness round about. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the LORD. When I saw it, I fell on my face,（Full of dignity） and I heard a voice of one that spoke.
Revelation 1
13)And among the menorot was one like a son of man, clothed with a robe reaching down to his feet, and with a golden sash around his chest.
14)His head and his hair were whith as white wool, like snow. His eyes were like a flame of fire.
15)His feet were like burnished brass, as if it had been refined in a furnace. His voice was like the voice of many waters.
16)He had seven stars in his right hand. Out of his mouth proceeded a sharp two-edged sword His face was like the sun shining at its brightest.
17)When I saw him, I fell at his feet like a dead man .(For he was full of dignity) He laid his right hand on me, saying, "Don't be afraid. I am the first and the last,
18)And the Living one. I was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. I have the keys of Death and of She'ol.
