４）彼らは女によって汚されたことのない人々である。彼らは童貞なのである。彼らは、神および小羊にささげられる初穂として、人々の中から贖われたのである。

ダニエル書
１：３）王は宦官の長アシェぺナズに命じて、イスラエル人の中から、王族か貴族を数人選んで連れて来させた。
４）その少年たちは、身に何の欠陥（しみ）もなく、容姿は美しく、あらゆる知恵に秀で、知識に富み、思慮深く、王の宮廷に仕えるにふさわしい者であり、また、カルデヤ人の文学とことばとを教えるにふさわしい者であった。
５：12）王がベテルシャツァルと名づけたダニエルのうちに、すぐれた霊と、知識と、夢を解き明かし、なぞを解き、難問を解く理解力のあることがわかりましたから、今、ダニエルを召してください。そうすれば、彼がその解きあかしをいたしましょう。
13）そこで、ダニエルは王の前に連れて来られた。王はダニエルに話しかけて言った。「あなたは、私の父である王がユダから連れて来たユダからの捕虜のひとり、あのダニエルか。
14）あなたのうちには神の霊が宿り、また、あなたのうちに、光と理解力と、すぐれた知恵のあることがわかった、と聞いている。

4)These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. Thewe are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These are they which follow the Lamb whithoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb.
5)And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God.

Daniel
1:3)And the king spake unto Ashpenaz the master of his enunchs, that he shoud bring chertain of the children of Israel, and of the king's seed, and of the princes.
4) Children in whom wasa no blemish, but well favoured, and skilful in all wisdom, and cunning in knowledge, and understanding science, and such as had ability in them to stand in the king's palace, and shom they might teach the learning and the tongue of the Chaldeans.
5:12)For as much as excellent spirit, and kowledge, and understanding, interpreting of dreams, and shewing of hard sentences, and dissolving of doubts, were found in the same Daniel, whom the king named Belteshazzar: now let Daniel be called, and he will shew the interpretation.
13)Then was Daniel brought in before the king. And the king spake and said unto Daniel, Art thou that Daniel, which art of the children of the captivity of Judah, whom the king my father brought out of Jewry?
14)I have even heard of thee, that the spirit of the gods is in thee, and that light and understanding and excellent wisdom is found in thee.

Hosea 2
19)And I will betroth thee unto me for ever, yea, I will betroth thee unto me in righteousness, and in judgment, and in lovingkindness, and mercies.
