モーセが当時のイスラエル人を「乳と蜜の流れる地」である約束の地に導いたように、終わりの時代にキリストが再臨して、選びの民を集め、神の御国に連れて行きます。
申命記18
14）あなたが占領しているこれらの異邦の民は、卜者や占い師に聞き従ってきたのは確かである。しかし、あなたの神、主は、そうすることを許されない。
15）あなたの神、主は、あなたのうちから、あなたの同胞の中から、わたしのようなひとりの預言者をあなたのために起こされる。彼に聞き従わなければならない。
16）これはあなたが、ホレブであの集まりの日に、あなたの神、主に求めたそのことによるものである。あなたは、「私の神、主の声を二度と聞きたくありません。私は死にたくありません。」と言った。
17）それで主は私に言われた。「彼らの言ったことはもっともだ。」
18）わたしは彼らの同胞のうちから、彼らのためにあなたのようなひとりの預言者を起こそう。わたしは彼の口にわたしのことばを授けよう。彼は、わたしが命じることをみな、彼らに告げる。
19）わたしの名によって彼が告げるわたしのことばに聞き従わない者があれば、わたしが彼に責任を問う。
20）ただし、わたしが告げよと命じていないことを、不遜にも私の名によって告げたりする預言者があるなら、その預言者は死ななければならない。」
使徒３章
19）そういうわけですから、あなたがたの罪をぬぐい去っていただくために、悔い改めて、神に立ち返りなさい。
20）それは、主の御前から回復の時※が来て、あなたがたのためにメシヤと定められたイエスを、主が遣わしてくださるためなのです。
21）このイエスは、神が昔から、聖なる預言者たちの口を通してたびたび語られた、あの万物の改まる時※まで、天にとどまっていなければなりません。
22）モーセはこう言いました。『神である主は、あなたがたのために、私のようなひとりの預言者を、あなたがたの兄弟たちの中からお立てになる。この方があなたがたに語ることはみな聞きなさい。
23）その預言者に聞き従わない者はだれも、民の中から滅ぼし絶やされる。』
そしてこのことは、モーセの後継者であるヨシュアの名の下に暗に預言されています。

２）言った。私は、きょう、百二十歳である。もう出入りができない。主は私に、「あなたは、このヨルダンを渡ることができない。」と言われた。
３）あなたの神、主ご自身が、あなたの先に渡って行かれ、あなたの前からこれらの国々を根絶やしにされ、あなたはこれらを占領しよう。主が告げられたように、ヨシュアが、あなたの先に立って渡るのである。
34：９）ヌンの子ヨシュアは、知恵の霊に満たされていた。モーセが彼の上に、かつて、その手を置いたからである。イスラエル人は彼に聞き従い、主がモーセに命じられたとおりに行なった。
イザヤ書11章
１）エッサイの根かぶから新芽が生え、その根から若枝が出て実を結ぶ。
２）その上に、主の霊がとどまる。それは知恵と悟りの霊、はかりごとと能力の霊、主を知る知識と主を恐れる霊である。
３）この方は主を恐れることを喜び、その目の見るところによって判決を下さず、
４）正義をもって寄るべのない者をさばき、公正をもって国の貧しい者のために判決を下し、口のむちで国を打ち、くちびるの息で悪者を殺す。
５）正義はその腰の帯となり、真実はその胴の帯となる。

第二テサロニケ１章
７）苦しめられているあなたがたには、私たちとともに、報いとして安息を与えてくださることは、神にとって力ある御使いたちを従えて天から現われるときに起こります。
８）そのとき主は、神を知らない人々や、私たちの主イエスの福音に従わない人々（クリスチャン）に報復されます。
９）そのような人々は、主の御顔の前とその御力の栄光から退けられて、永遠の滅びの刑罰を受けるのです。
ヘブル４章
１）こういうわけで、神の安息にはいるための約束はまだ残っているのですから、あなたがたのうちのひとりでも、万が一にもこれにはいれないようなことのないように、私たちは恐れる心を持とうではありませんか。
２）福音を説き聞かされていることは、私たちも彼ら（イスラエルの民）と同じなのです。ところが、その聞いたみことばも、彼らには益になりませんでした。みことばが、それを聞いた人たちに、信仰によって、結びつけられなかったからです。
３）信じた私たちは安息にはいるのです。「わたしは、怒りをもって誓ったように、決して（従わなかった）彼らをわたしの安息にはいらせない。」と神が言われたとおりです。みわざは創世の初めから、もう終わっているのです。
Just as Moses led the Israelites of his day into the Promised Land, "a place flowing with milk and honey," at the end of time, Christ will return to gather his chosen people together and bring them into the Kingdom of God.
Deuteronomy 18
14)For these nations, that you shall dispossess, listen to those who practice sorcery, and to diviners; but as for you, the LORD your God has not allowed you so to do.
15)The LORD your God will raise up to you a prophet from the midst of you, of your brothers, like me; to him you shall listen;
16)According to all that you desired of the LORD your God in Horev in the day of the assembly, saying, Let me not hear again the voice of the LORD my God, neither let me see this great fire any more, that I not die.
17)The LORD said to me, They have well said that which they have spoken.
18)I will raise up a prophet from among their brothers, like you; and I will put my words in his mouth, and he shall speak to them all that I shall command him.
19)It shall happen, that whoever will not listen to my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him.
20)But the prophet, who shall speak a word presumptuously in my name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or who shall speak in the name of other gods, that same prophet shall die.
Acts 3
19)Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out, so that there may come times of refreshing from the presence of the Lord,
20)And that he may send Messiah Yeshua, who was ordained for you before,
21)Whom heaven must receive until the times of restoration of all things※, which God spoke long ago by the mouth of his holy prophets.
22)For Moshe indeed said to the foathers, 'The Lord God will raise up a prophet for you from among your brothers, like me. You shall to him in all things whatever he says to you.
23)It will be, that every soul that will not listen to that prophet will be utterly destroyed from among the people.'
And this is implicitly prophesied in the name of Joshua, the successor of Moses.

34:9)Yehoshua the son of Nun was full of the spirit of wisdom; for Moshe had laid his hands on him: and the children of Yisra'el listened to him, and did as the LORD commanded Moshe.
Isaiah 11
1)There shall come forth a netzer out of the stock of Yishai, and a branch out of his roots shall bear fruit.
2)The Spirit of the LORD shall rest on him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD.
3)His delight shall be in the fear of the LORD; and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither decide after the hearing of his ears;
4)But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and decide with equity for the humble of the eretz; and the breath of his lips shall he kill the wicked.
5)Righteousness shall be the belt of his waist, and faithfulness the belt of his joins.

2Thessalonians 1
7)And to give relief to you that are afficted with us, when the Lord Yeshua is revealed from heaven with his mighty angels in flaming fire,
8)Giving vengeance to those who don't know God, and to those who don't obey the Good News of our Lord Yeshua (Christians),
9)Who will pay the pennalty: eternal destruction from the face of the Lord and from theglory of his might.
Hebrews 4
1)Let us fear therefore, lest perhaps a promise being left of entering into his rest, anyone of you should seem to have come short of it.
2)For indeed we have had good news preached to us, even as they (Israelites) also did, but the word they heard didn't profit them, because it wasn't mixed with faith by those who heard.
3)For we who have believed do enter into that rest, even as he has said, "As I swore in my wrath, they will not enter into my rest." although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.
