51：17）さめよ。さめよ。立ち上がれ。エルサレム。
あなたには、主の手から、憤りの杯を飲み、よろめかす大杯を飲み干した。
18)彼女が生んだすべての子らのうち、だれも彼女を導く者がなく、彼女が育てたすべてのこらのうち、だれも彼女の手を取る者がない。
19）これら二つの事が、あなたを見舞う。だれが、だれが、あなたのために嘆くだろうか。滅亡と破滅、ききんと剣、―わたしはどのようにしてあなたを慰めようか。
20）あなたの子らは、網にかかった大かもしかのように気を失って、すべての町角に倒れ伏す。彼らには、主の憤りと、あなたの神のとがめとが満ちている。
47：９）子を失うことと、やもめになること、この二つが一日のうちに、またたくまにあなたに来る。どんなに多くの呪術を行なっても、どんなに強く呪文を唱えても、これらは突然、あなたを見舞う。
エレミヤ書25章
15）まことにイスラエルの神、主は、私にこう仰せられた。「この憤りのぶどう酒の杯をわたしの手から取り、わたしがあなたを遣わすすべての国に、これを飲ませよ。
16）彼らは飲んで、ふらつき、狂ったようになる。わたしが彼らの間に送る剣のためである。」
黙示録14章
９）また、第三の、別の御使いも、彼らに続いてやって来て、大声で言った。「もし、だれでも、獣とその像を拝み、自分の額か手かに刻印を受けるなら、
10）そのような者は、神の怒りの杯に混ぜ物なしに注がれた神の怒りぶどう酒を飲む。また、聖なる御使いたちと小羊との前で、火と硫黄とで苦しめられる。
詩篇
60：３）あなたは、御民に苦難をなめさせられました。よろめかす酒を、私たちに飲ませられました。
75：８）主の御手には、杯があり、よく混ぜ合わされた、あわ立つぶどう酒がある。主が、これを注ぎ出されると、この世の悪者どもは、こぞって、そのかすまで飲んで、飲み干します。
エゼキエル書23章
１）次のような主のことばが私にあった。
２）「人の子よ。同じ母の娘であ、二人の女がいた。
３）彼女たちはエジプトで淫行をし、若いときから淫行をし、その地で彼女たちの胸は抱きしめられ、その処女の乳房はもてあそばれた。
４）その名は、姉はオホラ、妹はオホリバで、ふたりはわたしのものとなり、息子や娘たちを産んだ。その名のオホラはサマリヤのこと、オホリバはエルサレムのことである。
31）あなたが姉の道を歩んだので、わたしは彼女の杯をあなたの手にも渡す。
32）神である主はこう仰せられる。あなたは姉の杯、深くて大きい杯を飲み、物笑いとなり、あざけりとなる。二つの杯はあふれるほどに満ちている。
33）あなたは酔いと悲しみに満たされる。恐怖と荒廃の杯、これがあなたの姉サマリヤの杯。
34）あなたはこれを飲み、飲み干して、杯のかけらまでかみ、自分の乳房をかき裂く。わたしがこれを語ったからだ。―神である主の御告げ。―
ゼカリヤ書12章２節
見よ。わたしはエルサレムを、その回りのすべての国々の民にとって重い石とする。すべてそれをかつぐ者は、ひどく傷を受ける。地のすべての国々は、それに向かって集まって来よう。
イザヤ書
51：21）それゆえ、さあ、これを聞け。悩んでいる者、酒に酔ってはいても、酒のせいではない者よ。
29：９）のろくなれ。驚け。目を堅くつぶって見えなくなれ。彼らは酔うが、ぶどう酒によるのではない。
10）主が、あなたがたの上に深い眠りの霊を注ぎ、あなたがたの目、預言者たちを閉じ、あなたの頭、先見者たちをおおわれたから。
11）そこで、あなたがたにとっては、すべての幻が、封じられた書物のことばのようになった。これを読み書きのできる人に渡して、「どうぞ、これを読んでください。」と言っても、「これは、封じられているから読めない。」と言い、
12）また、その書物を、読み書きのできない人に渡して、「どうぞ、これを読んでください。」と言っても、「私は、読み書きはできない。」と答えよう。
13）そこで主は仰せられた。「この民は口先で近づき、くちびるでわたしをあがめるが、その心はわたしから遠く離れている。彼らがわたしを恐れるのは、人間の命令を教え込まれてのことにすぎない。
14）それゆえ、見よ、わたしはこの民に再び不思議なこと、驚き怪しむべきことをする。この民の知恵ある者の知恵は滅び、悟りのある者の悟りは隠される。
神の激しい憤りの杯は、大艱難時代にエルサレムから淫婦大バビロンへと向けられます。
イザヤ書51章
22）あなたの主、ご自分の民を弁護するあなたの神、主は、こう仰せられる。「見よ。わたしはあなたの手から、よろめかす杯を取り上げた。あなたはわたしの憤りの大杯をもう二度と飲むことはない。
23）わたしはこれを、あなたを悩ます者たちの手に渡す。彼らはかつてあなたに、『ひれ伏せ。われわれは乗り越えて行こう。』と言ったので、あなたは背中を地面のようにし、また、歩道のようにして、彼らが乗り越えて行くのにまかせた。」
49：26）わたしは、あなたをしいたげる者に、彼等自身の肉を食らわせる。彼らは甘いぶどう酒に酔うように、自分自身の血に酔う。すべての者が、わたしが主、あなたの救い主、あなたの贖い主、ヤコブの力強き者であることを知る。」
14：４）あなたは、バビロンの王について、このようなあざけりの歌をを歌って言う。「しいたげる者はどのようにして果てたのか。
５）主が悪者どもの杖と、支配者の酌とを折られたのだ。
６）彼は憤って、国々の民を打ち、絶え間なく打ち、怒って、国々を容赦なくしいたげて支配したのだが。
７）全地は安らかにいこい、喜びの歌声をあげている。
８）もみの木も、レバノンの杉も、あなたのことを喜んで、言う。『あなたが倒れ伏したので、もう、私たちを切る者は上って来ない。』ｓ
エレミヤ書50章
22）「国中には戦いの声、大いなる破滅。
23）万国を打った鉄槌は、どうして折られ、砕かれたのか。バビロンよ。どうして国々の恐怖となったのか。
24）バビロンよ。わたしがおまえにわなをかけ、おまえは捕らえられた。おまえはそれを知らなかった。おまえは見つけられてつかまえられた。おまえが主に争いをしかけたからだ。
黙示録
16：17）第七の御使いが鉢を空中にぶちまけた。すると、大きな声が御座を出て、聖所の中から出て来て、「事は成就した。」と言った。
18）すると、いなずまと声と雷鳴があり、大きな地震があった。この地震は人間が地上に住んで以来、かつてなかったほどのもので、それほどに大きな、強い地震であった。
19）また、あの大きな都は三つに裂かれ、諸国の民の町々は倒れた。そして、大バビロンは、神の前におぼえられて、神の激しい怒りのぶどう酒の杯を与えられた。
18：１）この後、私は、もうひとりの御使いが、大きな権威を帯びて、天から下って来るのを見た。地はその栄光のために明るくなった。
２）彼は力強い声で叫んで言った。「倒れた。大バビロンが倒れた。そして、悪霊の住まい、あらゆる汚れた霊どもの巣くつ、あらゆる汚れた、憎むべき鳥どもの巣くつとなった。

Isaiah (KJV)
51:17)Awake, awaike, stand up, O Jerusalem, which hast drunk at the hand of the LORD the cup of his fury; thou hast drunken the dregs of the cup of tremnbling, and wrung them out.
18)There is none to guide her among all the sons whom she hath brought forth; neither is there any that taketh her by the hand of all the sons that she hath brought up.
19)These two things are come unto thee; who shall be sorry for thee? desolation, and destruction, and the famine, and the sword: by whom shall I comfort thee?
20)Thy sons have fainted, they lie at head of all the streets, as a wild bull in a net: they are full of the fury of the LORD, the rebuke of thy God.
47:9)But these two things shall come to thee in a moment in one day, the loss of children, and widowhood: they shal come upon thee in their perfection for the multitude of thy sorceries, and for the great abundance of thine enchantments.
Jeremiah 25
15)For thus saith the LORD of Israel unto me; Take the wine cup of this fury at my hand, and cause all the nations, to whom I send thee, to drink it.
Revelation 14
9)And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and recieve his mrk in his forehead, or in his hand,
10)The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormente with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:
Psalms
60:3)Thou hast shewed thy people hard things: thou hast made us to drink the wine of astonishment.
75:8)For in the hand of the LORD there is a cup, and the wine is red; it is full of mixture out of the same: but the dregs thereof, all the wicked of the earth shall wring them out, and drink them.
Ezekiel 23
1)The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying,
2)Son of man, there were two women, the daughters of one mother:
3)And they committed whoredoms in Egypt; they commited whoredoms in their youth: there were their breasts pressed, and there they bruised the teats of their virginity.
4)And the names of them were Aholah the elder, and Aholibah her sister: and they were mine, and they bare sons and daughters. Thus were their names; Samaria is Aholah, Jerusalem Aholibah.
31)Thou hast walked in the way of thy sister; therefore will I give her cup into thine hand.
32)Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou shalt drink of thy sister's cup deep and lafge: thou shalt be laughed to scorn and had in derision; it containeth much.
33)Thou shall be filled with drunkenness and sorrow, with the cup of astonishment and desolation, with the cup of thy sister Samaria.
34)Thou shalt even drink it and suck it out, and thou shalt break the sherds thereof, and pluck off thine own breasts: for I have spoken it, saith the Lord GOD.
Zechariah 12:2
Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem.
Isaiah
51:21)Therefore hear now this, thou affilicted, and drunken, but not with wine:
29:9)Stay yourselves, and wonder; cry ye out, and cry; they are drunken, but not with wine; they stagger, but not with strong drink.
10)For the LORD hath poured out upon you the spirit of deep sleep, and hath closed your eyes: the prophets and your rulers, the seers hath he covered.
11)And the vision of all is become unto you as the words of a book that is sealed, which men deliver to one that is learned, saying , Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I cannot; for it is sealed:
12)And the book is delivered to him that is not lerned, saying, Read this, I pry thee: and he saith, I am not learned.
13)Wherefore the LORD said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men:
14)Therefore, behold, I will proceed to do a marvellous work among this people, even a mavellous work and a wonder: for the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, and the understanding of their prudent men shall be hid.
The cup of God's wrath indignation will be directed from Jerusalem to the harlot Babylon the Great during the Great Tribulation period.
Isaiah
51:22)Thus saith thy Lord the LORD, and thy God that pleadeth the cause of his people, Behold, I have taken out of thine hand the cup of trembling, even the dregs of the cup of my fury; thou shalt no more drink it again:
23)But I will put it into the hand of them that afflict thee; which have said to thy soul, Bow down, that we may go over: and thou hast laid thy body as the ground, and as the street, to them that went over.
49:26)And I will feed them that oppress thee with their own flesh; and they shall be drunken with their own blood, as with sweet wine: and all flesh shall know that I the LORD am thy Saviour and thy Rdeemer, the mighty one One of Jacob.
14:4)That thou shalt take up this proverb against the king of Babylon, and say, How hath the oppressor ceased! the golden city ceased!
5)The LORD hath broken the staff of the wicked, and the sceptre of the rulers.
6)He who smote the people in wrath with a continual stroke, he that ruled the nations in anger, is persecuted, and none hindereth.
7)The whole earth is at rest, and is quiet: they break forth into singing.
8)Yea, the fir trees rejoice at thee, and the cedars of Lebanon, saying, Since thou art laid down, no feller is come up against us.
Jeremiah 50
22)A sound of battle is in the land, and of great destruction.
23)How is the hammer of the whole earth cut asuner and broken! how is Babylon become a desolation among the nations!
24)I have laid a snare for thee, and thou art also taken, O Babylon, and thou wast not aware: thou art found, and also caught, because thou hast striven against the LORD.
Revelation
16:17)And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done.
18)And there were voice, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great.
19)And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.
18:1)and after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory.
2)And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.
3)For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.
