13）天よ。喜び歌え。地よ。楽しめ。山々よ。喜びの歌声をあげよ。主がご自分の民を慰め、その悩める者をあわれまれるからだ。
14）しかし、シオンは言った。「主は私を見捨てた。主は私を忘れた。」と。
15）「女が自分の乳飲み子を忘れようか。自分の胎の子をあわれまないだろうか。たとい、女たちが忘れても、このわたしはあなたを忘れない。
16）見よ。わたしは手のひらにあなたを刻んだ。あなたの城壁は、いつも私の前にある。
17)あなたの子どもたちは急いで来る。あなたを滅ぼし、あなたを廃墟にした者は、あなたのところから出て行く。
18）目を上げて、あたりを見回せ。彼らはみな集まって、あなたのところに来る。私は生きている。―主の御告げ。― あなたは必ず、彼らをみな飾り物として身につけ、花嫁のように彼らを帯に結ぶ。
19）必ず、あなたの廃墟と荒れ跡と滅びた地は、いまに、人が住むには狭すぎるようになり、あなたを滅ぼした者たちは遠くへ離れ去る。
Isaiah 8 (KJV)
13)Sing, O heavens; and be joyful, O earth; and break forth into singing, O mountains: for the LORD hath comforted his people, and will have mercy upon his afflicted.
14)But Zion said, The LORD hath forsaken me, and my Lord hath forgotten me.
15)Can a Woman forget her sucking child, that should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee.
16)Behold, I have graven thee upon the palm of my hands; thy walls are continually before me.
17)Thy children shall make haste; thy destroyers and they that made thee waste shall go forth of thee.
18)Lift up thine eyes round about, and behold: all these gather themselves together, and come to thee. As I live, saith the LORD, thou shalt surely clothe thee with them all, as with an ornament, and bind them on thee, as a bride doeth.
19)For thy waste and thy desolate places, and the land of thy destruction, shall even now be too narrow by reason of the inhabitants, and they that swallowed thee up shall be far away.

3)Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
4)Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.
5)Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jelous God, visiting the inquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;
6)And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.

22）もろもろの王国の王座をくつがえし、異邦の民の王国の力を滅ぼし、戦車と、それに乗る者をくつがえす。馬と騎兵は彼ら仲間同士の剣によって倒れる。
23）その日、―万軍の主の御告げ。―シェアルティエルの子、私のしもべゼルバベルよ、わたしはあなたを選び取る。―主の御告げ。―わたしはあなたを印形のようにする。わたしがあなたを選んだからだ。―主の御告げ。―」
Haggai 2
20)And again the word of the LORD came unto Haggai in the four and twentieth day of the month, saying,
21)Speak to Zerubbabel, governor of Judah, saying, I will shake the heavens and the earth;
22)And I will overthrow the throne of kingdoms, and I will destroy the strength of the kingdoms of the heathen; and I will overthrow the chariots, and those that ride in them; and the horses and their riders shall come down, every one by the sword of his brother.
23)In that day, saith the LORD of hosts, will I take thee, O Zerubbabel, my servant, the son of Shealtiel, saith the LORD, and will make thee as a signet: for I have chosen thee, saith the LORD of hosts.
