しかし、わたしが、神の指によって悪霊どもを追い出しているのなら、神の国はあなたがたに来ているのです。
But if I with the finger of God cast out devils, no doubt the kingdom of God is come upon you.
出エジプト記 (Exodus)
７：５）わたしが手をエジプトの上に伸ばし、イスラエル人を彼らの真中から連れ出すとき、エジプトはわたしが主であることを知るようになる。
And the Egyptians shall know that I am the LORD, when I wtretch forth mine hand upon Egypt, and bring out the children of Israel from among them.
８：19）そこで、呪法師たちはパロに、「これは神の指です。」と言った。しかし、パロの心はかたくなになり、彼らの言うことを聞き入れなかった。主の言われたとおりである。
Then the magicians said unto Pharaoh, This is the finger of God: and Pharaoh's heart was hardened, and he hearkened not unto them; as the LORD had said.
９：３）見よ、主の手は、野にいるあなたの家畜、馬、ろば、らくだ、牛、羊の上に下り、非常に激しい疫病が起こる。
Behold, the hand of the LORD is upon thy cattle which is in the field, upon the horses, upon the asses, upon the camels, upon the oxen, and upon the sheep: there shall be a very grievous murrain.

When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained;
４）人とは、何者なのでしょう。あなたがこれを心に留められるとは。
What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?
５）あなたは、人を、神（御使い）よりいくらか劣るものとし、これに栄光と誉れの冠をかぶらせました。
For thou hast made him a little lower than the engles, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.

６）さらに主の手はアシュドテとその地域の人々とを種物で打って脅した。
But the hand of the LORD was heavy upon them of Ashdod, and he destroyed them, and smote them with emerods, even Ashdod and the coasts thereof.
７）アシュドテの人々は、この有様を見て言った。「イスラエルの神の箱を、私たちのもとにとどめておいてはならない。その神の手が私たちと、私たちのタゴンを、ひどいめに会わせるから。」
And when the men of Ashdod saw that it was so, they said, The ark of God of Israel shall not abide with us: for his hand is sore upon us, and upon Dagon our god.

It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
聖書の中において、主(神）の手や指が人間に及ぶときは殆どの場合、制裁または裁きを現していることが分かります。
In the Bible we find that when the Lord's (God's) hand or finger is laid on a human being, it almost always indicates a sanction or judgment.
