1 Thessalonians 4
13)Brothers, we do not want you to be ignorant about those who fall asleep, or to grieve like the rest of men, who have no hope.
14)We believe that Jesus died and rose again and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him.
15)According to the Lord's own word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left till the coming of Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep.
16)For the Lord himself will comedown from heaven, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ (martyrs, true Christans) will rise first.
17)After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord for ever.
18)Therefore encourage each other with these words.
第一テサロニケ４章
13）眠った人々のことについては、兄弟たち、あなたがたに知らないでいてもらいたくありません。あなたがたが他の望みのない人々のように悲しみに沈むことのないためです。
14）私たちはイエスが死んで復活されたことを信じています。それならば、神はまたそのように、イエスにあって眠った人々をイエスといっしょに連れて来られるはずです。
15）私たちは主のみことばのとおりに言いますが、主が再び来られるときまで生き残っている私たちが、死んでいる人々に優先するようなことは決してありません。
16）主は、号令と、御使いのかしらの声と、神のラッパの響きのうちに、ご自身天から下って来られます。それからキリストにある死者（殉教者、真のクリスチャン）が、まず初めによみがえり、
17）次に、生き残っている私たちが、たちまち彼らといっしょに雲の中に一挙に上げられ、空中で主と会うのです。このようにして、私たちは、いつまでも主とともにいることになります。
18）こういうわけですから、このことばをもって互いに慰め合いなさい。
Revelation 20
4)I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony for Jesus and because of the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or his image and had not recieved his mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.
5)(The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousnd years were ended.) ※This is the first resurrection.
6)Blessed and holy are those who have part in the first resurrection. The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him for a thousand years.
黙示録20章
４）また私は、多くの座を見た。彼らはその上にすわった。そしてさばきを行なう権威が彼らに与えられた。また私は、イエスのあかしと神のことばとのゆえに首をはねられた人たちのたましいと、獣やその像を拝まず、その額や手に獣の刻印を押されなかった人たちを見た。彼らは生き返って、キリストとともに、千年の間王となった。
５）そのほかの死者（殉教者、真のクリスチャン以外のクリスチャン）は、千年の終わるまでは、生き返らなかった。これが第一の復活である。
６）この第一の復活にあずかる者は幸いな者、聖なる者である。この人々に対しては、第二の死は、なんの力も持っていない。彼らは神とキリストとの祭司となり、キリストとともに、千年の間王となる。
※）The first ressurection of the dead does not include all Christians. Only those who died in tha name of Christ and true Christians wil be ressurected.
※）死者の中で第一の復活にあずかれるのは、死んだ全てのクリスチャンではなく、キリストの名のために命をも惜しまず奉げて殉教したクリスチャン、そして真のクリスチャンの魂ということになります。
