my wife brought souvenir from kyushu (9 states); this is a fusioned cake sandwiched in pudding (instead of sweet bean jam) between pancakes, really delicious. please try this when you get a chance.
we went to a hair salon the other day, and we had totally different types of perms; however, both of our hair styles look alike (except for the hair color)..... of course, beauticians who took care of us were different.
about a week or so ago, we visited my wife's studio to workout. my wife led the workout with the gts machine, and even though it only lasted for about 20 minutes, i was pretty much exhausted by the end of it. on the other hand, miles did exactly followed the instruction (i knew you could do that), and he was pretty impressed by the workout
my wife used miles' mix cd when we worked out, and when miles heard the intro of the cd, he was like "hmmm, that sounds familiar." well, since the person who made the mix cd was there, i asked for his autograph (i felt a bit crunchy).
after that, we headed to ueno as miles wanted to check out some figures. there's a series of figures called trexi in which each of the figures is designed by different designers, and they were pretty cute. since they are in the boxes and you never know which one you would get, you may end up buying a lot of them to collect entire series.....
they're what we got, and second from the right is from miles (thanx!).
獲得したフィギュア達、で右から2番目はマイルスから(アリガトー!)
pic from miles (he got the ones he wanted!)
マイルスからの写真(幸運にも欲しかったものを獲得!)
both my wife and i tend to collect things once we get into whatever they are. so, we have to very much careful. i wish i could bring all the collection of things we collected in the past.....
again, it has past some time since i posted the last entry..... anyway, i went to celebrate solid tokyo's 4-year anniversary @ la fabrique the other day. i went there little after 12:30am, and it was already packed. the party was nothing but fun, fun and fun! happy anniversary and keep up throwing great parties!
here comes solid's resident dj marshall, pretty aggressive. and i noticed that bpm was pretty fast. i wanted to shoot kai's footage but i couldn't because i went there too late (sorry).
and mark grant from chicago, who was one of the headliners of the night, got onto the deck after marshall. very much soulful.
そしてマーシャルの後、この夜のヘッドライナーの1人であるマーク・グラントの登場。とてもソウルフル。
and finally, miles got onto the deck. i felt soooooo goooood listening to what he span!
そしてマイルスの登場。気持ちよかった~!
last but not least is the visual which was really great!
で、ビジュアルも本当に最高でした!
so, i'm really happy that i met this party and crews, djs, etc. involved in the party. but i have to stop eating on the way back home..., because all i do afterwards is to go to bed.
my friend in my hometown passed away..... none of us (friends) could believe this but it was a fact. i received a new year's card from him this year which was an usual thing, and that was the last communication i had with him..... hey man, rip.
there was a party called halloween ball / love unlimited at lounge roots tokyo on saturday night, and my wife and i was there to participate. i was one of few people who wore normal clothes. it was pretty much interesting to see people with costumes. and it seems like my wife fell in love with costumes..... there were fire dancing, dance performance, show, costume contest, etc. which were all fun to see. the party was totally different from the parties i usually go but it's worth to see!
they are my recent favorite jeans. i think they came out more than about 17 years ago. at that time, these jeans are popular with london/punk fashion. i couldn't get 'em in real time but i had a chance to get 'em some years ago at very cheap price. since they are jeans, there are so many kinds of (indigo) colors and actual sizes even as same sizes but they are perfect color and size to me. well, it took me some years to be able to wear them as i needed to lose my weight..... you would say it's pretty out of date but it's gotta be good after so many years, you know. quality design will never be out of date.
last night, my wife and i went to see olivier desmet @ solid which was held @ la fabrique. however, we had to leave right after he started djing. but fortunately, i could take a short movie. it's always good to listen/dance to funky/underground house music played at solid.
next one will be solid's forth anniversary, and you cannot miss it as mark grant and miles maeda will play along with marshall and kai. i really look forward to going to the party!
it's been really a long while since i posted the entry last time. sizzling summer has gone, and now we're in autumn. anyway, i noticed some people asscess here to see some info about encoding mov files to mpg files.
i'm using tmpg, which is very easy to use. but tmpg itself does not read mov file, so you need to have qtreader which should be put in tmpg's folder. then you need to have old version qtp (when you install qtp, you have to select "basic install."). the reason being that you can encode mov into mpg with tmpg and qtreader but there will be no sound unless you install qtp in above manner. well, you may not to need to have old version but you need to select basic install.
with this method, you can encode files and mpg-encoded file size will be about on third. hope this information helps.
