i usually drink two to three cups of coffee but we hadn't had a coffee maker since we broke the beaker. so, we've been looking for new one but for some reason, we never had chance to get one. and finally, we got one. well, this is a gift though.

it's been really a long time but i walked around the some towns. and i was pretty surprised by how fast the towns change. some shops closed, some shops opened new shops, some are unsder construction... i realized that they never stay the same. i guess it is considered as positive progression, no?
久しぶりにブラブラと散策。で、街の変わりように驚いてしまった次第です。閉店してしまったお店もあれば新店舗をオープンしたお店もあり、また建設途中のものなど。常に変化しているということを改めて実感した次第です。
by the way, i sat down next to a guitarist and singer duo in the train, and i imagined that if this was in my hometowm, people would be like "omg, omg!"
そう言えば、電車でギタリストとシンガーのデュオの隣に座ったんですが、これが自分の田舎だったら「ウワッ、スゲ!」などと騒がれるのかな、と想像してしまいました。

it's been really a long time but i recently received a phone call from unknown number, who just hang up on me right after i answered the call. i was to call back the number but i felt something and checked the number on the internet. and it turned out to be those one-ring phone scams. in my case, the number was 0992xxxxxxx (i don't remember the last 7 digits).
if you call back the number in your received call list, which you don't know, this will lead you to 1-900 sort of number and will charge you expensive phone bill. so, if you don't know the number, do not call back.
久しぶりにワン切り。電話に出た瞬間に切られたのですぐに折り返そうと思ったんですが、ふと何かを感じてとりあえず市外局番をネットで調べて見ました。で、出てきたのがワン切りでした。自分の場合、かかってきた番号は0992-xxxxxxx（下7桁覚えておらず）でした。
と言うわけで着信履歴に残っている覚えていない番号にかけるといわゆる有料ダイヤルに繋がってしまうらしいので折り返さないように。

when he came over to play at a party, like 12 or so years ago, he stayed at my friend's apartment. and in the morning, he was driniking tea, yes, english tea, not coffee, with his shiny silver metalic suit. i guess it was the costume for his play. anyway, he got onto the airplane with that suit. everyone was like gee-whiz but he didn't care at all and went on his way.....
その昔、12年ほど前だったでしょうか、彼がパーティーでdjするために来た時、僕の友人のアパートに泊まっていました。で、朝はやっぱり紅茶を飲んでいました。そう、イングリッシュ・ティーです。コーヒーではありません。しかも銀色でピカピカ光ったスーツを着て紅茶、です。プレイの時のコスチュームだったと思うんですが、いずれにしてもその格好のまま空港で飛行機に乗り込んでいきました。周りの人たちはそれこそあっと驚くような感じでしたが、全く気にせず、我が道を進んでいったのです・・・。

i just found out that my favorite pastry shop in my hometown recently closed its door after running the shop for more than three decades. i always bought cookies as souvenirs whenever i visited my hometown. i also like the pink camo patterned packages. thanks a lot!
